  1. Quarterfinal Loss 2-3 in First U1100 Sanctioned Tournament – Please Share Pointers

This is really good advice I was also given some time ago and it worked for me so I will extend. On this initial level often matches goes into pushing competition. If the opponent is heavy pusher you either push or hits the net. There slow FH loop comes to help you. From the things what work on...
  2. Gewo Aruna Hinoki Carbon Composition?

I agree the website like revspin or TT blades are useful, but prone to errors as they just rely on user submissions (and megaspin just takes a lot of comments directly from revspin). The sticker from original blade box visible on tt-test.de is clearly more trustworthy if manufacturer is willing...
  3. Gewo Aruna Hinoki Carbon Composition?

There is a lot of inconsistency in the internet over Joola Aruna OFF and Joola Rossi Emotion. J Rossi Emotion and J Aruna OFF on revspin are both listed as having kiri core. On tt blades DB the JRE has Ayous core and JAO kiri. The tt-test.de link says it is ayous for Gewo Aruna Hinoki OFF.
  4. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2025

What's the difference between Loki Arthur Europe (blue cover) and Europe Diamond (white)? Have you already played them?
  5. You have $100 (about € 85) to make a complete setup, what do you buy?

For a player who is not total beginner: Yinhe Pro 03 $50 BH: 729 Battle III H38 $20 FH: 729 Battle III H39/40 $20
  6. Advice for beginners: No need to change your blade

These chaep T88-III are a steal, I found them on promo and bought just to give it a try for my begginer son and they are really good on some lightweight blade. Possible to create some rotation, but in a controlled way.
  7. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

I have them in Euro size 44 and they are quite narrow indeed (what is fine for me)
  8. Donic Skachkov Carbon

Thanks, this Skachkov Carbon I added to my list anyway as it seems interesting even I normally use inner-type blades. The look of the handle is also really nice
  9. Donic Skachkov Carbon

@kolyasya Can you compare Donic Skachkov Carbon to Donic Original True Carbon Inner? I think you mentioned once you have played with DTCI as well. I am quite happy with it and as an EJ just exploring some blades around its characteristic.
  10. Is there a Donic Anders Lind blade review?

Some time ago TTgearlab dropped blogentry with description and measurements of this blade https://ttgearlab.com/2025/07/21/donic-anders-lind-hexacarbon-photos-information/
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think I have some example to share of my colleague from local training group I attend. He is an older guy doing coordinator job in our community sometimes addressed as coach. He was playing football in local clubs for many years, later mixing job of being PE teacher in regional school and...
  12. Donic true carbon inner

I am a happy owner of Donic True Carbon Inner, but nonetheless I am considering buying a Nittaku S-CZ. Can you say anything about the FL handle? I prefer ST or FL handles of at least medium thickness. In example Yasaka, Sanwei, Stuor I see as "thin" handles, while Yinhe FL are perfect and...
  13. Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

Regarding chinese sites now Temu is in Poland more popular than aliexpress, but their table tennis offer is inferor. Not all rubbers I normally buy at ali are there and if they are, the price is higher. While reading about and checking even more chinese rubbers is kind of guilty pleasure for me...
  14. Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

Im from Poland and often buy on aliexpress and have bought several rubbers from 729, Yinhe and recently Double Fish. I only buy from sellers with reasonably good opinions and usually package takes 7 days from order to being at my door. Including going through customs office (1-2 days spent...
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Great insight, such people get labelled as "natural athletes". They keep good physical fitness even without training and if they train they got great results. Some time ago my colleague asked to come with me to training. He wasn't playing for almost 30 years, since he was a teenager (having some...
  16. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

Any possibility that you roughly compare 218 rubber in terms of speed/spin/throw angle with popular rubbers like YJupiter 3 Asia / 729 Battle II / 729 Battle III ?
  17. Donic Original True Carbon Inner vs Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon

I can only practically compare with other inner carbon blades I used longer time with same or similar rubbers: Yinhe Pro 05, FL handle, 90g, layers: limba, ayous, carbon, ayous, carbon, ayous, limba Yinhe Pro 03, FL handle, 90g, layers: koto, ayous, carbon, ayous, carbon, ayous, koto Donic...
  18. Donic Original True Carbon Inner vs Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon

I second that question, as a user of DOTCI would be interested as well
  19. I need a German inner blade

I think we count soulspin made Nittaku S-CZ as German? Recently I often play with Donic Original True Carbon Inner, what I find great considering reasonable price. It is also of around 85g wieght what is nice if you prefer something lighter than more typical 90g for inner blades.
  20. Double Fish Volant-Phoenix

I tried both recently, for me DFVP1 plays more like a typical chinese rubber for FH, while DFVP2 I use now as a cheaper substitute of hybrids on BH. When you touch topsheet of DFVP1, it seems less tacky than i.e. Jupiter 3 Asia, but it plays similar to me. Comparing J3 Asia and DFVP1 (both H39)...
