  1. Stolen Blade

It depends if you are looking at it as an individual (Sergio), or a business who wants to keep an excellent reputation (SDC Blades). I’ve never disputed Sergio not being paid upfront and having the money. But if you remove the knowledge that we know Sergio is an excellent maker/person, and...
  2. Stolen Blade

You obviously don’t ship much in the UK! I’d hazard a guess that over 1,000 parcels go missing every day over here. Some might eventually be found, but most get lost to the postal systems (often they aren’t stolen, just misplaced).
  3. Stolen Blade

Yes and no. The courier is responsible as long as you insure the goods properly and use the correct shipping method. If you send a parcel on a 2nd rate service with little to no insurance cover, the seller has very little to cover them if the parcel gets lost. If the parcel was insured to...
  4. Stolen Blade

In this day and age, I think you need to use a courier service that provides photo evidence of delivery. I work for a company who ships a lot of expensive items, and the amount of people who claim to never have received them is huge! But unless you have the full tracking details, and photo...
  5. Is TableTennisDaily Youtube channel deleted?

I think it’s worth remembering that “the people” is predominantly, Dan. A full time teacher in the UK! I have no inside knowledge of the set up, but I would be very surprised if TTD made any profit from their website and YT channel. If they do, I’d guess it was very small. The time and...
  6. Lower level player using Butterfly ALC and Tenergy?

It’s hard to see if you are trolling, have just discovered the internet and forums, or you are intentionally trying to selective quote things to argue with…. But I’ll try and answer as much as possible for the benefit of the forum (apologies in advance, I’m on my phone so it’s going to be...
  7. Lower level player using Butterfly ALC and Tenergy?

😂 I've not really read any of your other posts that I recall, and I'm not going to go looking for them. I don't like to assume either. Your comment about Tenergy made you seem like a very low level player - Which is absolutely fine, but obviously knowing that is helpful when discussing advice...
  8. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

I’d be surprised if anyone knows for sure. But I have never once thought any company is “boosting” their rubbers from the factory like a player would “boost” their rubber at home. Anytime I see the rubber advertised as “boosted/tuned” or whatever, I always assume there is something in the...
  9. Lower level player using Butterfly ALC and Tenergy?

As always, far more information is needed from all posters before anything close to a genuine answer is possible. @alfort, I have no idea of your level, playing style or technique. I can understand what you are saying about Tenergy if you really are on the lower/very low level of ability...
  10. Viscaria (normal/ Super ALC) or Ovtcharov Inner ALC

I know my answer is not going to please many people, but it's really for the future players who many stumble upon this thread in future. The differences between ALC, Super ALC, Innerforce ALC or any other "mainstream" OFF carbon blade is VERY SMALL. If you aren't of a very high level anyway...
  11. The counterloop era?

Yeah I agree with you there. You can almost hit straight through the spin these days - Beforehand, you'd need to hit a genuine counter loop, which wouldn't have the same venom and out right speed.....
  12. The counterloop era?

I disagree with this. I think the 38mm Cellular Balls with Speed Glued rubbers was the fastest the game has ever been. Everything they've done since then (40mm+ plastic balls, no speed glue) has been designed to slow the game down. I think the players are more explosive in general, and newer...
  13. How durable of Dignics 09c

I've been using it on my FH, with D05 on my BH. I wouldn't say I've noticed much difference in durability. D09c may be a little less durable as the rubber loses it's top sheet grip, but it's pretty close to D05 in that regard.
  14. Tenergy 05 vs 05FX?

You aren't entirely wrong, but let's look at T05 vs Dignics 09C I find Dignics 09C to be significantly less sensitive to incoming spin, and much better for serve return than T05. I also find it spinnier than T05. Now, a lot of this will have to do with the fact that Dignics is a harder...
  15. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

Sorry, I did know that but force of habit in referring to "Euro" rubbers as "ESN". The very few people IRL I've spoken to about it, always seem to refer to "Euro" rubbers as ESN (Butterfly included) - But of course, you are very right! And yes, my short lived experiment with MX-S and MX-P were...
  16. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

OK, I can't speak for that rubber, but I can for the 2 most "common" Euro ESN rubbers (Butterfly and Tibhar). Neither of those brand leave any form of residue or anything - They just look like normal rubbers. People say they can "smell" the boost/tuning from the factory, but I'd say this would...
  17. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

What rubbers is this referring to?
  18. Blades for restarting/relearning Table Tennis

As someone who has had a similar path to you.... I don't think changing the equipment is going to make *too* much of a difference here. I think you are trying to achieve something by changing equipment, that you can only achieve through practice and match play. Sure, thinner/slower rubbers...
  19. What booster does ESN use on their rubbers?

Without explicitly knowing for sure, I agree with @lodro and my assumption has always been that the rubber mixture or the process of making the rubber/sponge combo is one that includes the "boosting" element. Quite what that involves, I don't know, but I very much doubt they are applying...
  20. Tenergy 05 vs 05FX?

No, I find T05 or 05FX to be very poor at serve receive unless you are confident in your strokes. Likewise, the answer to your original question is highly dependant on you. I prefer 05, my teammate prefers 05FX - We’ve both had a huge amount of success with it on the backhand. If you are...
