Lol, yes, I guess absolutely zero actual table tennis is probably too little! 😃 I’m playing with it tomorrow night and Tuesday night - I just wanted to get my initial impressions up, and give people a chance to ask any questions so I can bear that in mind when practicing.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being a fan of one particular brand. But when it gets to the point where you are overly positive on one brand, and negative towards the others, it just looks a little suspicious. Anyway, on the Cybershape, have you used it yet?

Sounds like an Innerforce blade of sorts would be ideal. The Harimoto ALC gives you the same top end speed, whilst offering more control and touch in the short game. Much better on the blocks too.

Those rubbers would be recommended for the next stage. Once a beginner has learnt the basic strokes and is looking to get a bit more out of their equipment, we’d recommend Sriver/Mark V etc.
