  1. Focus on the ball instead of my movement?

After a while, you don't look at the ball, yes when it hits but not at your racket. My hitting point is always by feel and I always look at the opponent's position then. A friend of mine who is much better and top 100 player in his country says the same thing, his hit-moment is purely on...
  2. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

Your last sentence is important to me. If she is already good with SP at the age of 10, she certainly started earlier. So the question remains, why did she start doing that. Who or what prompted her to abandon regular rubbers on her BH. I think only the topic starter can answer this. To be...
  3. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

Indeed, that’s true. I just wonder if she tried with inverters at an even younger age. Did she train long enough with regular rubbers? Who pushed the kid to start playing with SP. I suspect it is always forced on you by others. When you are that age, you can surely master all your strokes, both...
  4. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

I didn’t ask for a question on my question. That’s not a reason.
  5. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

Yes, I know that, but: why on that age with SP? Why? Give me one good reason. Why do you let a child start SP? That's why I'm curious to know the answer. It’s only a simple question.
  6. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

I wonder what prompted a 10-year-old child (who probably started even earlier) to play SP? I guess the dad is an SP player.
  7. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

    JWJ, getting better with age!
  8. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Then we disagree on that. He takes two steps back for a reason. In 70% of cases, he only blocks the ball (because he is too late) and without any attacking intention. Of course, you won't get anywhere if you want/need to be dominant. And I agree with you that he would indeed be better off...
  9. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Not going to happen. Okay he can train on it a bit but his natural reflex/reaction time is too slow. From his FH to his BH is still good but from his BH to his FH his reflexes are not enough to take over his opponent offensively.
  10. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

    I like his swing! :D
  11. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Like most of the times…always too late, except the last several months. Then there was some progress. Looks there was something wrong with him.
  12. WTT Champions Macao 2025 - 9-14 Sep 2025

Oh’s FH is one of the most beautiful FH’s that I saw in the last years.
  13. WTT Contender Almaty 2025 Sep 2-7

As I wrote in his own (Faraji) topic, he is going to be injury prone with this FH and then I fear for his future. If he doesn't start adjusting his FH soon, he will be left with a partially torn shoulder tendon in the foreseeable future.
  14. WTT Contender Almaty 2025 Sep 2-7

What horrible timing with her FH. In fact, CIC hit only 1 good ball, with her BH in all of that first set.
  15. K3 VIP? 59 degree sponge

Soon we will have to play with lead balls!:D
  16. Euro Mini Champs-2025

Current mini champions and future stars of the future: Final table, first 32 In 10 days, the WTT youth tournament is in Luxembourg!
  17. Euro Mini Champs-2025

After several preliminary rounds, Aiden Braekmans has reached the main table (last 32). He is not the only Belgian as there is another compatriot of his among the last 32 players.
  18. Euro Mini Champs-2025

We will be following this. A Belgian youth player is already there for the appointment. He is listed at number 153 on the playing list. He is the young talent I mentioned earlier: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/europe-smash-sweden-august-14-24-2025.35820/page-10#post-536527
  19. Europe Smash Sweden August 14-24 2025

In my opinion, there is currently too much table tennis at the highest level. Last week's Feeder in Bulgaria was indeed a joke. They would be better off centralising everything in one large city, such as Malmö, where the youth event is already held. Why not hold a Feeder there at the same time...
