  2. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

In my opinion, Bernadette is not very good at playing against "material".
  3. WTT Champions Montpellier 2025, 10/28-11/2

Hugo let it slip. It could have been 3-0. But that doesn't detract from Kanak's performance with a rock-solid BH block/counter.
  4. Why is this forum so obsessed with the Japanese women's team?

Put me in that select group too... I have to admit that MN is attractive, but apart from that, she is also a lefty, and as it happens, just about all left-handed people (women and men) always have an advantage with me.
  5. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

Precisely because he is BH-oriented, his reaction time from BH > FH is just not fast enough. He does not have that problem when he goes from FH > BH, precisely because his reaction time/memory thinks that the next ball will go to his BH. Something I wrote about here years ago for the first time...
  6. WTT London Star Contender - October 2025

Sorry, but topspins wouldn't have helped much. DQ has once again made clear what I think has been going wrong since Tomo's youth. The parallel balls to Tomo's forehand flew around his ears and he just stood there watching. What a slow reaction time TH has! It's unbelievable how many points DQ...
  7. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

At that time, every country you mention had its own ‘chouchou’, but now this is actually much less prevalent. Sweden has Truls, France has the brothers & Simon, Germany has Sabine & Annett, Romania has Bernadette, but that's about it. There is still a lot of emerging talent, but they still...
  8. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

The quarter-finalists in the men's competition are known: And the woman:
  9. Busy Busy 2026

    They're not learning it!!!
  10. New skill unlocked: Counter-attacking opponent's loop

No counter-loop but slap. Featuring Adriana...or Hugo....;)
  11. China Smash 2025

Yes, that's right, and those are precisely the three points where his timing with his BH is off. If he becomes more consistent, the minor errors will automatically disappear and we will see a player who can take Alexis' place in the top 15-20 in the world.
  12. China Smash 2025

I think Coton is a stronger/powerful player than his opponent XP, but he still lacks consistency, which is not surprising given his age.
  13. China Smash 2025

There is nothing wrong with is push. Unbelievable BH but I saw severals bad timing. He was faster with his arm but the ball wasn’t there yet. Not sure if XP is a stronger player (in my opinion not) but XP was much more consistent in this match. What I do know is that this youngster will make...
  14. China Smash 2025

    Pffffff, lucky boy!
  15. Wcq nailed again. Most shameless pro on tour currently

That's right, and when he's cornered, he always starts serving above the table and moves his body further and further beside away from the table so he can play his serves and reduce the playing field. No referee ever comments on that.
  16. The W-Grip

I never saw this before, euhhh it’s special! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1132033794976731/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  17. WTT Feeder Cappadocia II-2025 ( 16 - 20 September 2025)

I didn't know him yet, but he's a very nice player. He'll get there!(y) I just saw his match against Sakai. He could have won that one 1-3 as well, actually (5-7 lead in the 4th set). I do see some areas for improvement, though. He looks back too much (at his coach?), his footwork definitely...
  18. Looking for a coach for an advanced chopper

Thank you very much for your contribution. There's nothing wrong with becoming a chopper. I love playing against a classic defence, but I don't enjoy it as much when 'help-rubbers' are used. Now, over the years, we've also learned to get around that clip, so don't take what I just wrote too...
  19. French Pro A 2025-2026

When I see who plays in the French and German leagues, I have my reservations about the Belgian and Dutch leagues, or rather, about the clubs in both countries. What a sad state of affairs in these supposedly wealthy countries that are struggling to find sponsors.
