That's a nice little trick. Although most people are taught to look at the opponents bat as soon as they've hit the ball, so what you do with your eyes and body aren't that important. Would love to see it work in a match!

I would guess that 90% of the UK table tennis population aren't comfortable changing their own rubbers. Almost 100% wouldn't do it in the lower divisions, and only the mid/top divisions would be doing this (even then, not THAT many people would).
