  1. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Nah I'm not (thankfully) - I played for Westfield 1's last year (which played at Westfield in Wellingborough). Did you play against Westfield 2's?
  2. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

I've spoken to a lot of top coaches who say to take the ball just before the top of the bounce. I guess if you are close to the table and attacking, that's the way to go. I don't think I'll ever be in that mould - It's just not my style.
  3. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Yeah, I'm 6ft 4. It didn't help that in the exercise we were doing, my partner was struggling with consistency - Hard to build a rhythm up. Looking over it myself, the long rally at 27 seconds was about perfect for me I think.
  4. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

I think 100% of the people would say similar to you. I used to play another metre or so further away - Far too enjoyable, and didn't get as many wins! haha. I'm not as quick as most when I go closer to the table - If I get into a "quick hitting" match with someone, I usually come off worse (I...
  5. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Question for you folk - How late do you take the ball? I've always taken the ball later than I should - A byproduct of enjoying "fishing" at the back of the court. I'm trying to take the ball earlier these days - I think the rally at 27 seconds is about perfect for me. Do you like to take the...
  6. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

Haha - Why do you think that is? I don't think I've seen recent video of you playing, but I've seen some old matches where you look in decent nick.

OK, this thread has turned weird! @chintanmashroo....... Is there a reason you don't wan't to simply spend €90 and buy one brand new? I saw your comment about preferring a "used" one - Which frankly, makes little sense. But if you buy a new one, and use it for a few months..... It'll be good...
  8. LF: OSP V'King FL handle

Haha, yeah, but the OP wanted a used one to save on money. When a new one is €90 - I’m not sure you’ll save much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

Here's the video - My comments are on the previous post. The one thing I'll reconfirm is the spin you can generate is insane! It doesn't look a lot, but you can see the arc, and if you hit the ball well, it's going to work really well for you. If anyone has any questions/comments - Let me...
  10. Evolution on Carbonado

Disclaimer: I haven't used either of those Carbonado blades. However...... There really isn't a huge amount in it when you look at the offensive blades. Heck, I used to have the Schlager Carbon (which was a hard rocket), and I could still do pretty well. MX-P is fast, and harder than T05 -...

Am I missing something? Isn't it 90 Euros on their website?
  12. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

I only gave myself 3 initials @Der_Echte - Just so you could remember them ;) But yeah, I find the experienced players to be like you (not such a rock star in warm ups, but very good in matches). Whereas the juniors and younger players tend to be very slick in the warm ups (almost perfect)...
  13. Tibhar VS Unlimited Feedback

I've just had a very short training session - Managed to get a little bit on film so I'm uploading as I type (slow internet here!) Some more feedback for anyone following....... This is probably more aimed at the rubbers than the blade - I think the blade will suit anyone who enjoys playing...
  14. Hello. Blade Question

I can whole heartedly recommend the Tibhar VS Unlimited!
  15. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

No it wasn't - It was Milton Keynes! @Joe141 Playing in local league matches is absolutely the best way to improve your overall game - I've never seen so many weird and wonderful players who have developed their own style during the local league matches. Sadly, with the matches starting at...
  16. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

One of the big leagues I play in had a vote - The old website which was created by one of the members, or TT365. It was like Brexit all over, with the older members who used neither, voting for the one which was made by one of the members. Such a backwards move - Nearly all other local leagues...
  17. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

Yep - It seems nearly all juniors are coached in the same way. Short serve Back hand flick return Attack everything on both sides. If they are on form, it's really impressive to watch - But as soon as you add a bit of variety in there, or the match gets tight - I've seen many a player fall...
  18. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

I reckon this is the most overlooked point on TT forums. I've seen some people practice/knock up, call it what you want, and they look like world beaters. Then when I play them in a game, they don't have the overall game management to win. I can play a decent backhand and a decent forehand -...
  19. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

Hi Russell, what league do you play in? i think there are very few people who achieve a high ameateur level, and have a good overall knowledge of the equipment scene. A lot lot of the top players I play with, just use what they always have done.
  20. Blade and Rubber recommendations for Intermediate Offensive player?

Hey Fanz, to save Carl from looking, did you upload any video of yourself playing?
