  1. Central Blade Thread (EJ welcome)

you can try butterfly outerforce ALC
  2. A stiff all-wood with a soft feel?

if you want a slow but stiff blade then you should not look into offensive blades and choose a defensive or allround blade. maybe even a blade made for pips like the ones from dr. neubauer
  3. A stiff all-wood with a soft feel?

depends against you compare it too. all 5 ply blades are flexible against any carbon inforced blade. but if you compare a 5 ply against another 5 ply then the ones i named are stiffer. the stiffest one of the list would be xiom offensive s. and yes i tried all of them thanks to my clubmates :)
  4. A stiff all-wood with a soft feel?

butterfly korbel japan and all the copies of that blade like neotec voodoo classic, gewo zoom pro, xiom offensive s and so on. all of those are fast and stiff 5 ply blades with soft limba outer
  5. Hello everyone, I am new in the forum.

+1 on just keep on playing! if you don‘t have a coach yet, then get one for at least 5 sessions and then try to implement the stuff in your daily training and have fun :) korbel is a really good blade and tenergy fit‘s really well on it! if you change you should stay with grippy rubbers and...
  6. Someting similar to Xiom HAL?

xiom hugo hal is not a crisp blade as most of the blades on your list except for dynasty, so you should look for one of the many classic viscaria-style blades then.
  7. Someting similar to Xiom HAL?

that seams weird, the outerforce alc wasn‘t so much faster then the hugo hal. the butterfly shop person said the caf is way slower. and without the alc it would be even softer and thicker too. way to soft and thick for my taste resulting in less feeling for the ball, but i can just assume...
  8. Someting similar to Xiom HAL?

i wonder that too! i feel like there are some things that are still missing even though the ttgearlab helps a lot. trajectory, catapult and kick by the fibre is one thing. and the other is feeling of handle, wood quality and fibre.
  9. Someting similar to Xiom HAL?

i recently went to the butterfly store to try some rubbers and tried the new outerforce alc and the fzd cnf. the cnf has so much catapult it felt more like a very stiff 5 ply blade. was hard to control and the outerforce alc suited me way more. the trajectory was just a bit flat compared to my...
  10. ITTF WTTC Finals Doha 2025, 5/17-25

the lightning is really bad and color grading of the cameras too. feels more like a contender then the official world finals! idk what happend there :/
  11. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

anybody tried the loki kirin 5 rubber?
  12. Liang Jingkun signs with LOKI

weird. doesn’t look like they provide a outer version as well? but what a beautiful blade! even though they clearly copied the zhang jike alc they made it even sweeter with the gold details. i wonder if liang actually wanted it to look like it :)
  13. Something a bit quicker than Fastarc G1?

mx-p has the same spin as tenergy, it is only harder to activate for low level players because the ball leaves the racket faster
  14. Something a bit quicker than Fastarc G1?

victas ventus extra and xiom omega 5 tour
  15. Xiom blades, any affordable ones?

xiom blades are really good! extreme s is extreme! faster then a fast carbon blade. hayabusa zl pro is really good for development offensive s is also really good, behaves like a 7 ply but is actually 5 ply
  16. Bad cheap chinese glue

i had this several times over the years with different glues. i think it happens more with heat. the tt shop in my town had the glues stored next to the window with the sun shining on. but they always gave me a new one when it happend
  17. Some doubts about BH topspin

that would be one of the few moments where i would give that person a slow allround blade with beginner rubbers like vega intro or yinhe mercury to learn how to get power and spin from the body and not from the blade
  18. Some doubts about BH topspin

you just pushing the ball forward without any real quality. try to actually swing and hit the ball - not hit the ball and then swing. rn it looks more like a counterspin then a topspin on block. second you are reaching for the ball a lot, let the ball come to you, be in position and get power...
  19. Revolution No.3 Cleaner makes the topsheet tacky?

i used it for a sheet of bluestar a1 that was beaten and it restored the tack. this with a tiny layer of falco booster can restore this beaten down sheet for some more weeks it seams!
  20. Revolution No.3 Cleaner makes the topsheet tacky?

that would be my question too! i will try to use it as a regular cleaner for my newer vega x and will report back. but the tack it is creating stays permanent. i tried to clean it away but it stayed tacky, so it seams to react with the topsheet and not just creates a tacky film
