  1. *VIDEO* - Please help me decide on a forehand rubber! 🙏

It's has very good spin, bit heavy on the weight. I know a couple of choppers that use it. The dig is heavy on the rubber so might work also you don't attack massively being more of a classic defence type player. Other plus is it's pretty durable. How's the season going in BL for you...
  2. *VIDEO* - Please help me decide on a forehand rubber! 🙏

What kind of improvements do you want over the 09c you are playing with at the moment? more spin, safer flight of the ball, higher or lower throw type things? Cheers GZ
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

The service rules are not enforceable agreed. Where there's money involved people do what they do unfortunately and it filters down from the pros to the Joe's.
  4. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

It must be frustrating for the pros definitely as it's their job. If you are facing pro level serve and third ball those hesitant moments can cost the paycheck.
  5. Some Clips of me looping vs chopper

"How can I get through his chop? He is too consistent." Hence the match and playing tactics... Was under the impression these were to win the rally. The full match video is available to view as well... Consistency doesn't seem an issue.
  6. Some Clips of me looping vs chopper

Nice videos 👍. You are very predictable in your game possibly. Push, loop. Very similar length of ball, angle of attack you rarely went very wide to take the chopper outside of their comfort zone. Angle drop shot is also a good option, when taking a chopper out wide. It's good consistent play...
  7. Medium hard rubber for backhand

What rubber are you using at the moment?. Did you prefer faster, slower, more grip etc. Then you'll get a tailored response from a fair few of the members who really love their EJ'ing 👍 Cheers GZ
  8. Joola Trinity or Super Viscaria

Cut to viscaria mine is 50g
  9. Joola Trinity or Super Viscaria

I hadn't to be fair but will look into it definitely 👍
  10. Joola Trinity or Super Viscaria

I've just hold of a Joola trinity for a short test period in a flared handle. Will say the quality is very good. Fit and finish is excellent. I'm thinking putting my K3 on both sides or A1. What pairs well with this blade?. Cheers
  11. Strategy against this player

Best to video this match and get some more information on how things are going. There is very little you can change right before the match apart from being aware of the change in angle. If you overthink it you may have alot going on in your head which will cause an issue with your performace in...
  12. Strategy against this player

Fix after the game but be aware of the issue and be active when addressing the stroke in match play. You can cloud the mind with what you should and shouldn't do which might actually stop you from doing either very well. Are you thinking of a video of the match? Hope it goes well and enjoy...
  13. Strategy against this player

That 300 points is quite a jump to be fair.... There was quite a difference in speed and also spin from your opponent which really threw your shots off and looked very frustrating. It looks a bit like you never quite got the ball you wanted to play your game or shot you decided. A shorter...
  14. Cho !!

Before receiving service... CHO ! Cho-Le Ha... Little bounce on feet.. CHO ! Cho-Le Ha ha ha... Reset... Hand up as not ready repeat... Repeat... Strange times indeed 😊
  15. Very Spinny forehand loops are OP

A heavily spinning low ball is a big weapon definitely. Both for a setup shot or an outright winning stroke. It can be devastating agreed in competition play at many levels to be fair.
  16. Joola Trinity or Super Viscaria

I'm thinking of moving from Viscaria to one of the 2 above. I'm using K3 Pro max and Bluestar A1 FH&BH. I'm looking for more pace but without the loss of rotation and too much control. Any suggestions would be help greatly. I'm not planning on changing my FH rubber btw.
  17. Table Tennis axed from Commonwealth Games - 2026

I honestly can't work that one out. Really sad day for TT.:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
  18. Countering heavy top challenge

All options to be fair. Some more possible than others. I don't know the player serving but always air on by mistake than deliberate. So I would go no 3. How many competing players do you know that are cheating with malicious intent.. Honestly where I play very very few. Thats my rational
  19. Countering heavy top challenge

Definitely serve action looks below what is expected from the angle of the brief clip. Cheating is a very strong word... Glad someone mentioned it as the player can try and address it now and improve.
