  1. Bluefire M2 alternative

The thing with these newer generation German rubbers is that they play well when fresh but they have a short lifespan because they are factory boosted. I have had the same issues with a lot of German rubbers in particular where they do not play as well after 1-2 months. You can upgrade to...
  2. 38mm speed glue era table tennis

DiogeTTTube has been a gold mine for content practically ever since I started playing in the early 2010's, I'm amazed that he still puts out high quality content
  3. Tips for when you hate your new rubber?

You say these new rubbers made your racket a whole lot heavier, its a possibility you just aren't used to how to handle the extra weight which is affecting your racket handling ability. If you play with a racket that is too light or too heavy in relativity to your preferences and experiences...
  4. Anders Lind’s new blade: “Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon” question, please review it if you use it

I'm sorry, I can't say because I have not spent a lot of time with TCI (only had a brief hit with a friends racket)
  5. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

I like SPW a lot, used it for a while, I have owned several. IMO I think its a great blade to get a taste of a real racket but for those who start to develop a legitimate modern attacking technique, I think 7 ply blades like Xiom Solo and Szocs Signature 1/Samsonov Force Pro have better support...
  6. Anders Lind’s new blade: “Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon” question, please review it if you use it

Less speed and less crisp medium hard feeling. A Lind is a bit softer impact with more hollow feeling than koto outer ALC. I think its worth a try though, it is not a slow blade after all, but it is also still inner construction. Though if you want a slightly slower outer ALC i think both the...
  7. Harimoto seen using new butterfly rubber

Considering Hybrid MK is only ESN47.5 and Harimoto is at least known to be using D05 (ESN50, and there's a good chance he is using a special harder version too) I don't think so. Even MKPro (ESN50) I found to be less aggressive than D05. I don't think there would be much in it for a pro like...
  8. Butterfly Aibiss?

IIRC I'm pretty sure Aibiss predates G09C by at least a year or two, mainly I think it was supposed to be positioned as a newer but cheaper take on SpinArt rather than a cheap D09C.
  9. More tacky = more spin??

1- More tacky doesn't necessarily mean more spin but if you're used to tacky rubbers, it would make sense that you are also better at getting more mileage out of a tacky rubber rather than a nontacky one. 2- Even modern Chinese style rubbers like Hurricane and Skyline are no longer tacky as...
  10. Rakza 7 vs DHS Gold Arc 8 (47.5)

I found GA8 47.5 max is heavier than R7 max by a few grams. Maybe just manufacturer tolerance but I'd go for 2mm
  11. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Could've sworn I saw him using FZDSALC at some of the previous MLTT livestreams. Hypercarbon is inner so maybe he wanted something like SALC/Krypto Carbon but stiffer than W986
  12. Clipper like type of blade?

Yasaka Galaxya, Donic Persson 7 are both slightly milder takes on the Clipper formula
  13. Is short pips answer to receiving serves?

Sp do not resist spin enough to make a dent in ones (lack of) receive ability imo. You need to hug the table to take the ball early and cannot rely on the topsheet to grab the ball when you need to spin it, the margin for error over the net is tighter than with smooth. But in exchange you do not...
  14. Anders Lind’s new blade: “Donic Anders Lind Hexa Carbon” question, please review it if you use it

Flared handle size is definitely smaller than my FZD series, and more similar in size (if a bit rounder) from Super Vis. I sold my Super Vis and my Lind is being borrowed so I can't compare directly
  15. Butterfly 2025 New Blades: Outer Force ALC, CAF, ZLC

Outerforce Super ALC when? I like the feeling of the Freitas and the performance of FZDSALC and I'd love to try out an outer SALC with limba top
  16. I want to upgrade. TB Alc, fzd alc or viscaria?

I'd honestly suggest putting a new set of your old rubbers on whatever new blade you're going to get. Its better to change one thing at a time
  17. I want to upgrade. TB Alc, fzd alc or viscaria?

What do you want from these rubbers? Are you familiar with them? They are fast and bouncy and can be difficult to play with if you are not used to them.
  18. I want to upgrade. TB Alc, fzd alc or viscaria?

FZDALC has a slightly larger handle than Viscaria and TBALC so it would make sense to get it if your hands are bigger
