Boosting is really destroying the sponge., the first thing one should know. The chemical reaction that starts will generate gases. That makes the sponge get filled with gas pockets. This makes the sponge expand and bend. But the sponge can’t hold the gas for very long, this is why it bends back...

I think sticky protection sheets are useless, they attract sooo much dust. I always use non sticky ones even on non sticky rubbers.... If they are thin enough there is an under pressure that will hold them. It works worse with thicker and stiffer ones. Cheers L-zr

Of course I am, Its just a huge hype. Natures most efficient and natural shape for strength is the sphere... Hexagonal shapes are great for utilizing space in a beehive etc and also appears in nature, but the sphere has more internal strength,,,, The hexagonal shape has no advantage for me...
