  1. What's the next step after fundamentals?

Keep practicing, remember you for BH will need a snappy wrist action. For your FH flick start with your underarm parallel with the table surface and pivot with your elbow. Cheers L-zr
  2. What's the next step after fundamentals?

Flick short balls. Start with balls that have light underspin to your BH. Cheers L-zr

  5. A light Chinese rubber with a little catapult and decent spin

I am currently using H3, but I wanted something faster and I happened to have a sheet of Nittaku H3. It’s time to test. Before H3 I was using Tibhar Hybrid MK on FH. They are light? I forgot about this. Thanks & Cheers L-zr
  6. A light Chinese rubber with a little catapult and decent spin

I am currently playing with 729 Dragon F. It’s perfectly OK, but a little heavy. I just composted a new racket. Neottec Amagi carbon 83gram FH nittaku H3 pro orange (really heavy) BH 729 Dragon F. The rackets total weight 192grams really top heavy. If I choose to continue with Amagi carbon and...

"How to Keep D09C tacky?" Don't play with it... Seriously... The tackiness of a rubber is never ever constant it will always diminish in various grades... Tacky protection sheets, Yes they are dust magnets. I never use them. On a tacky rubber there is always a small degree of tackiness left...

  11. Yay! I am a looper now, so what next?

You feel when you hit a spinny shot, you see it on the trajectory and on the table bounce. In the beginning it’s not gonna be much spin, but keep it up and it will get much better. My former coach always told me.”More spin Lazer…you need more spin”… My shots are getting more and more spinny but...
  12. My equipment: Am I an EJ?

I am planning to test all, but honestly some will never be used. Recently I went all in due to the shortage of Hinoki, the last blades I got are all using this wood at least as a top layer. I am currently using spruce as a top layer. But this won’t be forever… 😁 Cheers L-zr

  16. Yay! I am a looper now, so what next?

Dont expect to win on the loop, its a setup for offensive play and the return from BH is a lot more benign than from FH. Cheers L-zr

Europe is waaaaay soft, better to get used to something harder.... Cheers L-zr
  18. Yay! I am a looper now, so what next?

Aim a slow spinny loop to their backhand. The further out the better. FH is too easy to just smash or drive it very fast. I try to open to BH most of the time. But it is not 100% predictable, sometimes the ball ends up where it ends up. Practice makes perfect, dont quit the looping its another...
