  1. Balsa Carbon blade with large/square handle

Hi everyone, For a teammate of mine I am looking for blade options. He uses a Butterfly Balsa Carbo X5 currently and likes everything about it, except for the skinny handle. He recently tried my Andro Treiber FI and loved the bigger and more square handle on that blade. Do the Andro Kanter...
  2. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Updated my start post with my current "stock" in rubbers, donated some stuff to my club. Also I am currently enjoying the Treiber setup a lot at the moment, going forward with that and play a local tournament with it next weekend. Ordered a Hallmark Tactics LP 1.2 and am eyeing a Yinhe 955...
  3. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Ended up going with the Yinhe Super Kim on my Andro Treiber blade and the Dawei 388D-1 Professional on my Butterfly blade. I am kind of disappointed in the Dawei 388D-1, everything I liked about the Super Kim vanished, while the LP rubber seems to be heralded for it's ease of attacking with it...
  4. Friendship 729 battle 3

Hmm, I was in belief that I read on here that the 39 hardness would take about 10 hours to break-in, whereas the 40 hardness took only 5 hours. I'll keep giving them a go over then next months, going to make my two bats virtually the same rubber wise, only difference would be the hardness on...
  5. Friendship 729 battle 3

Currently have a B3 40 on a Butterfly Balsa Carbo blade and a B3 39 on a Andro Treiber FI. Got about 6 to 8 hours on the B3 40, with the B3 39 I just played with for an hour. Contrary to what I read it feels like the 39 hardness has less break in time to be. I likes the 40 hardness but the 39...
  6. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Hi! Yes I did, and I liked it. Mid soft was too muddy for me, only usable on a very hard blade. Mid Hard (M+) is a very good do-it-all cheap BH rubber. I'd recommend this over the Palio AK47. Very similar, if not better performance, and waaaaaay better durability. I can even imagine the H- or...
  7. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Updated my current setups in the first post of this thread, LP experiment going well! I am enjoying my BTY Balsa Carbo X7 with Battle 3 40 as FH and Yinhe Super Kim 1.1 BH. Finally found a good LP BH I can be offensive with, immediately clicked with it. Got a Dawei 388D-1 Professional 1.0 on...
  8. Timo Boll announces retirement after Paris 2024

Same here, I bought a Timo Boll blade when I was 16 and was happily surprised he was still around when I got back to playing 1,5 years ago, with the same blade. A true once a generation talent, lets hope he remains in the Bundesliga for some time to enjoy his play. Otherwise I hope he...
  9. Hallmark Tactics LP OX or Sponge

Small pump, anyone with experience with the sponged version of this rubber?
  10. Xiom Vega Pro H Care

Generally advised for tacky rubbers is to clean it regularly with just water and use a protection sheet to stick on the rubber after use. I like to clean before I go play, some people clean after a session and then stick on the protective sheet to the rubber, boils down to personal preference.
  11. Are there any blue colored hybrid rubbers?

If you are specific to wanting to have a blue rubber choices might be limited. Just saw that the Tibhar Hybrid MK has a blue variant, and while hybrid, its very different to a Rakza Z. While not hybrids, you might want to look into the Xiom Vega Korea, Rasanter R48 (surprised thats available...
  12. Friendship 729 battle 3

My sheet of B3 arrived today, but I noticed that I had ordered 40 instead of 39 hardness. I am contemplating on returning it or giving it a try anyways, got new sheets of 39 hardness on the way already. I tend to lean towards 39 degree rubbers, but can anyone break down how the 40 degree feels...
  13. Hallmark Tactics LP OX or Sponge

Hi guys, I'm new to playing LP and wanting to adopt an offensive, by the table LP BH. I currently have a Tibhar Grass D.Tecs OX on there which is a hard beast to master so far. From my research I am eager to give a sheet of Hallmark Tactics LP a try. I was hoping to find someone who could say...
  14. My experience with Chinese rubbers

I'll sum up the blades I have used over the past 6 months in competition, rest is just used to toy around with in training. My go to blade had been the Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7. Love the blade and kept circling back to it when I was playing with short pips BH and inverted on both sides. Over...
  15. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Small update from my end. LP experiment going well so far. Still playing with the Grass D.Tecs OX that I bought with the Andro Treiber FI blade. Bit mixed experience so far, the one time I it creates magic, but the other time it either dies of creates a bullet. Gonna give it another few weeks...
  16. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Would be interesting to see a comparison between this blade and the Stiga Cybershape Wood. I reckon they might be very close in many aspects.
  17. Post your latest EJ purchase

Received it today, with an additional suprise of a Tibhar FX-S on the forehand of the blades! Deal just got better and the blade is indeed in near new condition 👌
  18. My experience with Chinese rubbers

Played with my T11s setup and preformed as expected. Will play a little more but I really do like the Bloom Power as FH rubber. Also the medium hard Moon 12 is a very good step up from the medium soft, pretty much better in every regard. I did als play a brief game with my LP setup on my BTY...
  19. Post your latest EJ purchase

Scored a pretty good deal today. Bought a second hand Andro Treiber FI with a Tibhar Grass D.Tecs OX on the backside for 50 euros. Frame and rubber are 6 months old and seem in great shape judging by the pictures. Even if the LP is not my thing in the long run, the price was too good to not...
  20. Hybrid MK FX

This indeed seems like a solid BH option. I had the regular MK as 2.0 on BH, might give the MK FX on 2.0 a try
