Yes it does, the effect doesn’t last very long but it changed gradually when you play. Since it is an oil it didn’t evaporate quickly, it is mostly mechanical wear. Since it changed gradually you will get used to it. Also it needs to be broken in so it peaks around 2-3 sessions. Cheers L-zr

Donic Appelgren WC 89 or Nittaku SC-Z. Excellent slow(ish) outer blades with good feel. Spruce outer so they are a little sensitive for splintering, need to remove rubbers carefully. Cheers L-zr

You can’t duplicate the feel of a 1 ply with several plies. You can get the ball hold though. Look for a topsheet with thick layer of hinoki (or spruce also works). Absolutely, unless you racket lies outside on a table… Put it in a case (rubbers between protective sheets) and store it in a drawer. Rubbers breaks down from sunlight and oxidation. Stored properly this is a very slow process… Then it takes Years… Cheers L-zr
