  1. Rubber suggestions

Thanks for the comments everyone. The Chinese rubbers mentioned might be a bit hard to get for me as they are not readily available over here. Also, while I know that my technique might not be the best, I know that with my old bat (Bryce FX on Timo Boll OFF, frame broke unfortunately) I was...
  2. Rubber suggestions

Hi everyone, Recently I bought a Stuor Long 5 clone (inner ALC) through Aliexpress and I am looking for a suitable rubber pairing to go with it. I am an lower-intermediate attacking player on both BH and FH, with my BH recently being the focal point. I currently play with a Butterfly Balsa...
  3. Table Tennis Survey for University Project

Filled it in, good luck with your project!
  4. STIGA Cybershape Wood CWT Review

Great review guys! Did I understand correctly you used the non-CWT in the first half of the video? I'm curious if the non-CWT blade is top-heavy like the Carbon Cybershape is. As for the CWT version, at which weight did you get the sensation that the balance was no longer in the head of the blade?
  5. Anyone try Andro Rasanter C48?

I've got the C48 2.0 on my forehand, with the R48 2.0 on my backhand. I like it a lot for counterlooping and serve/short play, but opening up is not it's strong suit. For opponents where I have to open up/make the pace for I twiddle to have the R48 on the forehand. Also for opponents with...
  6. Looking for light bat set up (offensive play)

I personally would not go lighter than the setup I currently have. As for the rubbers you mention, I don't know them, so I cannot say anything on them.
  7. Looking for light bat set up (offensive play)

I was looking for the exact same thing as you when I went shopping for a new blade end of December. I also had a top-heavy blade at 189 gram, which I hated for the ~3 months I had to play with. I ended up getting a Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7 2022 frame, with a flared handle. I used anatomic...
  8. Andro rasanter c series

Wanted to chime in with my two cents on the C48. I have it on my forehand, 2.0 thickness and have been using it for about a month now. I use a sheet of R48 on my backhand, also 2.0 thickness, on a Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7 blade. The C48 is a great rubber, very stable. To me it feels like its...
  9. Good rubber for improving player

I'd like to suggest giving the Rasanter R48/R45 a try. I personally dislike the Rozena's, been struggling with them a lot (but that might also be because of a wrong blade/rubber combination).
  10. Help on new rubbers

Thank you for your insight! I was considering going with Rakza 7 Soft for my backhand, for the extra control. My backhand is not really a weapon of mine, but I need to be able to rely on it in the short game and the occasional open up. I'm still debating my forehand choice, especially reading...
  11. Help on new rubbers

Hi everyone, After a 11 year hiatus I started playing again back in March. I started off with my old blade (Butterfly Bryce FX on a Butterfly Timo Boll OFF frame) but the frame had cracked, so in september I purchased a new blade. I was looking for more control and got advised to take Rozena's...
