  2. SANWEI NEW BLADE EX-C Verdi and EX-C Verdi Inner!

I never heard the expression second before. It appears at very fast balls with high spin. It can be achieved with any blade really if you hit hard enough with the right technique. If you look at TtGearLab (they have a web site) the characteristics of this blade has what they call “deep hold”...
  3. Adhesive rubber protection

After every session I clean my rubbers with a cleaning agent. This dries very fast, much faster than ordinary water. When all liquid has evaporated there is still a microfilm left on the rubber. This makes the sheet stick. Then I push on the sheet from inside to the outside. This makes a small...
  4. Bring your own tt-balls to the club?

On all sessions with trainers the club provides balls. On trainerless sessions you have to bring your own. Cheers L-zr
  5. Adhesive rubber protection

I also used Nittaku…, I even tried a dishwasher sponge, no go. So not again…. Cheers L-zr

  7. Side tape REALLY change the feeling or not? What do you think?

I used to play without it… until I ripped the edge off my precious SDC blade when my rubber caught the table while pushing… Always use it since, blade may feel a teeny wheeny heavier, nothing that bothers me… Cheers L-zr
  8. Adhesive rubber protection

If you can live with the dirt that sticks to it’s fine. I use non adhesive for both sticky and non sticky rubbers, and that works fine too. Cheers L-zr
  9. SANWEI NEW BLADE EX-C Verdi and EX-C Verdi Inner!

OK, it is spin… What a misleading nomenclature… So the bottom line with this blade is that it is “supposed to” hold the ball a smidgeon longer. Fine I can live with that. Cheers L-zr
  10. SANWEI NEW BLADE EX-C Verdi and EX-C Verdi Inner!

That’s what I call spin… The ball has speed and spin when it leaves racket, nothing else. Cheers L-zr
  11. SANWEI NEW BLADE EX-C Verdi and EX-C Verdi Inner!

Of course I know that’s not the case, but the ad is totally misleading. The friction is a business between the ball and the rubber… The blade has no effect on this. It can make the ball stay on the rubber longer but that’s it… And “second speed” what is that…. I interpret it as catapult...
  12. SANWEI NEW BLADE EX-C Verdi and EX-C Verdi Inner!

”One of the key benefits of Verdix fiber is its ability to generate faster spin. The unique properties of Polyarylate fibers contribute to increased friction between the ball and the blade, allowing players to impart more spin on their shots with less effort. This is particularly advantageous for...
  13. Rubber + Table Question

Watch out for T05. it’s an untamable beast in the short game… Much much more difficult to handle than Rozena… Cheers L-zr
  14. Rubber + Table Question

Don’t trust revspin, the numbers there are not scientific in any way shape or form… I like Rakza 7 a lot better than Rozena. If you want something more spinny try Tibhar hybrid MK, the spinniest ESN rubber I know of… Expect it to be a little slower and with a little less catapult but it’s...
  15. Do pro chinese players use neo version of hurricane

I doubt anything was designed for speed glue… It just happened and due to the strength the result was unpredictable… Cheers L-zr
  16. Help! How to remove strongly glued rubber?

Never remove the rubber top down, this is asking for trouble… Remove it side to side. The wood is stronger against the grain and the grains runs top to bottom on the outer layer… Cheers L-zr
  17. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yeah cheese making can be yacky… The smoking kind of coffee shop? Cheers L-zr
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I promise you that if I’m ever headed your way I’ll be at your doorstep to accept your challenge. 😉 What about you? Avoid or embrace? Cheers L-zr
  19. Perfect beginners blade

The all+ is Hinoki/ayous/ayous/ayous/Hinoki. I don’t think it is Kiso, but that doesn’t matter really an I am concerned mostly with top layer… Cheers L-zr
  20. Perfect beginners blade

Don’t know have not tested it yet, I expect it to be really slow though being light and flexy. Cheers L-zr
