  1. Friendship 729 battle 3

It’s not a huge difference between the two so I would keep it. Who knows it might fit better… Cheers L-zr
  2. New racket after a break - T05 or Dignics?

Tenergy 05 is unbeatable (can maybe be beaten by Dignics) at a distance. You say you play close to the table with strong spin. That the CV for a typical H3(neo) player. You won’t get a better rubber than that close to the table, but at a distance not so much, it can be a dog but something to...
  3. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

I’m not sure you can boost a 42 sponge so it becomes 37. I’m not sure how much softer it gets, but I don’t think it’s much. I’d say 4 layers of booster is too much. I would use 2 or 3. But it also depends how thick they are and I am always boosting light. Cheers L-zr
  4. Dry boosting -- safe boosting.

He is OK, just a little obsessed with boosting. But I don’t mind really. This was actually really funny… Cheers L-zr
  5. Other candidates for GOAT

Agreed, and it is impossible to name a GOAT only best of their time. The prerequisites are all different at different points in history. Cheers L-zr
  6. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

This is probably because harder rubber is denser and needs more before saturated. But it’s not like speed glue where gas put pressure on the sponge from within but evaporated very quickly. A booster is consisting of mostly paraffin oil that will react the sponge and resolve it. This reaction is...
  7. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Absolutely, glued under tension tends to do this… Also the expansion during boosting will fatigue the sponge and thus shrink more than an unbooted rubber. But without the mechanical tension that takes place during play this process is very slow… Cheers L-ze
  8. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Rubbers shrink without boosting too… They can sit for a long time in their package, but after usage when removes they have shrunk.. Cheers K-zr
  9. Best multiball drills?

This You can train with a partner without multi ball, except maybe the “week points in my opponent”. This is experience. Find a strong server and ask him to serve to Your FH. And have someone do a FH -FH rally with You. The high BH you can probably also train with someone. I find multi ball...
  10. Dry boosting -- safe boosting.

Ha, ha, Good one Igor… 🤣 But about a month a half late… Cheers L-zr
  11. Best multiball drills?

No such thing, depends on what You need to train… Cheers L-zr
  12. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Exactly, it does from mechanical interaction not by anything evaporating. Since boosting is vitrtually destroying of course the mechanical damage goes faster. I have a bloom power I boosted 3 months ago and it’s as it was just boosted… very little play time. Cheers L-zr
  13. Chipped Blade. Any hope?

It seems like most wood is there this is what I would do.. 1. Use superglue. 2. Cover with a couple of news paper pages Make sure that the news paper covers all glue. 3. Clamp it with under two blocks of wood and let it sit for a few hours. 4. Now when the woodblocks are removed the news paper...
  14. Rakza 7 Soft Alternatives

Ha… Where others state the sponge hardness without telling the scale… And more important without mentioning the topsheet… One good example is Hammond Z2 which according to the stated hardness should be really hard nut in fact is oerceived soft… In my experience Yasaka states the relative...
  15. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

I’m with TensorBackhand on this one, there is a slight degradation long term but the boosting never goes away. This is logical because there are no voc’s involved to dissipate. The degradation is mechanical. If you don’t use the rubber there is very little degradation. The booster resolves the...
  16. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

The Sanwei Target national I have is almost exactly as tacky as my H3 39 provincial OS from start. Can’t say anything about the longer run though. The boosting reduces tackiness in my experience… It may be a coincidence… or not… Cheers L-zr
  17. Rakza 7 Soft Alternatives

It’s in relation to their other rubbers. It means it’s pretty soft, no brain surgery skills required to understand this. No different from other ratings really… You just need to know 1 of their rubbers to get an idea… get it ??? Cheers L-zr
  18. Sweaty Hands :(

Approximately how much weight does this add? (Bty grip tape adds ~5 g)… Cheers L-zr
  19. Can you guys see Taiwan's flag on your phone?

    🇹🇼 IPhone 11…
  20. Help with blade

Impossible, control and speed are the inverse of each other… more speed = less control and vice versa. It’s an unbreakable law of nature. Cheers L-zr
