  1. Frictionless Antispin vs Dr. Neubauer Super Block OX

It's only illegal at the ITTF tournaments, 95% of the table tennis players do not participate in such tournaments, so it's all good.
  2. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

I wonder if anyone here can compare these particular rubbers in terms of ease of spin on low impact shots and maximum spin capability (e.g. max spin B2 Gold > H3N > B2 Regular) Friendship Battle II regular orange sponge 45 deg (softest version available) Friendship Battle 2 Gold purple sponge...
  3. Need help choosing a backhand rubber

I guess every person is different when it comes to feel. For me, baracuda is pretty sensitive whilst rakza 7 is one of the least spin sensitive. Had them both on relatively stiff V14 Pro.
  4. Need help choosing a backhand rubber

After T05 any rubber would be spin insensitive. Compared to even mx-p that I also have, t05 fx is more reacting to incoming spin.
  5. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

I went back to all wood, 5 ply, and immediately started to win players I would lose against. Simply because I'm able to land more shots on the table and direct them exactly where I want them to and people just don't expect the balls I'm able to send now. With pro 01 all of this would end up in...
  6. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Only hard chinese tacky rubbers or hybrids respond well to boost, or ESN rubbers after they are worn out, in order to get speed and spin back you can boost them but this will most likely decrease the life span of the rubber. The reason behind boosting is to make the topsheet more elastic...
  7. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

If I were you, I would get a 5 ply wood blade (Yinhe Earth E3 for example or DHS W3010 if you like thin handles) without any carbon because it will only harm your technique instead of helping and I would buy two yinhe big dipper 38* (1st version) they are rather cheap, have amazing control, very...
  8. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

AK47 blue and yellow are very peculiar rubbers. They are rather soft and in order to get any spin from them you have to engage the sponge. Blue version is non linear at all, unlike red, which I liked the most. To me, red is also the fastest but at the same time the easiest one to play, I feel...
  9. How long protective film lasts?

I have rakza 7 and vega pro. both of my film plastics stick to them as if they were chinese tacky rubbers, but they are not.
  10. Need help choosing a backhand rubber

Tried 05fx - it is pretty fast, not the most spinny rubber out there, but I would say it's kinda sensitive for incoming spin so I don't know if it's good for blocking. Baracuda big slam is even more so, but it's definitely slower than 05fx and it has speed limit which is super easy to reach. I...
  11. Frictionless Antispin vs Dr. Neubauer Super Block OX

Does anyone know which one of the two would have more spin reversal ? Dr Neubauer super block OX or modern frictionless anti like ABS Pro, Storkraft, Super Glanti Black 0.7mm?
  12. Rakza 7 vs DHS Gold Arc 8 (47.5)

Hello everyone, I wonder which one of these rubbers is less spin sensitive to incoming spin? I'm debating trying DHS on my backhand and looking for something with better control/block abilities. Has anyone tried it? If yes please share your experience with DHS Gold Arc 8 over all.

  14. W968 envy forced me to get HL5 clone

Which rubber of the two produces more spin: Jupiter II 40 or G8? And which one you feel more control with?
  15. Is it the right approach to try to return every backspin serve with a backhand flick?

If u want to secure that opening, try to do long push. Your opponent will have hard time playing it short so the second bounce will be unlikely and he will give you long push back as well
  16. W968 envy forced me to get HL5 clone

Yinhe handles are pretty thick and comfortable for the most part (V14 pro, Pro 01, Pro 05). A little bit thicker than korbel or timo boll alc and much thicker than regular dhs handles that's for sure. Don't know about how it compares to HL5 though as I haven't seen anyone compared the two yet...
  17. Is it the right approach to try to return every backspin serve with a backhand flick?

I've heard it's easier and more effective to do banana aginst side-backspin. Where there is more pronounced backspin on the serve and less sidespin it's harder to do banana (Kirill Skachkov's advice). I usually just push long to the other side of the table or push short. If you don't want to do...
  18. Oh no! Zhang Jike in trouble?

I agree, the content he makes is super helpful, interesting and engaging. Maybe we should ask him for adding Eng subtitles as well
  19. Oh no! Zhang Jike in trouble?

Fun fact (or assumption) I learned from a russian coach who made a video about JZK’s career. During his career he lost so many matches that he was supposed to win including those against Ma Long, Fang Bo in semifinals etc. His arguements were that JZK’s uniqueness was in letting emotions take...
