  3. Aurus vs Fastarc

G1 is the easy favorite for me. G1 topsheet just feels crispier and more responsive imo, Aurus is less reactive to me, more straight shooting and arguably more forgiving but G1 just has that edge, especially for me in the aggressive opening, service and flicking departments. Coming from G1 I...
  4. Lines on balls to show spin?

Anything that has the ball rotating with any decent spin will make it appear like a blur. It might only be beneficial to players when there is little to no spin on the ball. In terms of spectacle I think it would only be useful for close up slomo replays
  5. Why is the K1 not popular?

I was referring mostly to Dragon Grip and D09C. But of these modern hybrids I have only had brief hits with borrowed rackets, I have not yet directly owned any of them myself
  6. Why is the K1 not popular?

K2 is pretty old now, I think it was released in 2017, newer hybrids are more dynamic and give spin easier
  7. Why is the K1 not popular?

K2/Golden Tango for sure. K2 is currently on my spare, I think the Golden Tango series has been discontinued by Joola but it seems as though K2 which is a very very similar rubber is still being sold in the Chinese market
  8. Why is the K1 not popular?

I have tried a lot of different ESN hybrids, PK50/K2/Golden Tango+PS, Codexx 52+54, and Rakza Z+EH- and to me, K1E was the softest, least supportive and the least grabby feeling rubber out of all of them. I tried it on a handful of blades before ending up giving it away
  9. Why is the K1 not popular?

Let it be said that there are quite a few different versions of K1. I have only tried the K1 Euro (green/blue/purple packaging with white border) and ngl its the worst performing ESN hybrid I have ever tried, my experience is that the feeling of the K1E is unsure and the grip is not strong, its...
  10. Hugo Calderano is not using is Xiom Calderano HAL anymore

Yes but the fiber layer in those blades is almost invisible unless you get a super closeup view of it. They are 5+2 blades not 3+2, the darker layers visible in the blades are wood layers and not the fiber layers. The difference in color of the layers between blades in the photo I provided is...
  11. Hugo Calderano is not using is Xiom Calderano HAL anymore

Looks just like a regular wood layer to me, not ALC or fiber. Same layer is easily visible in photos of commercially available HAL
  12. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

The post you're quoting is written by infamous and long-time table tennis forum troll Srinivas Janhardanan, more commonly known as 'sjan,' and more recently going by the name 'James Z' He is known to create various fake profiles to flame and bait on forums, and has been trolling table tennis...
  13. Post your latest EJ purchase

Large headsize blade, looks like rubbers cut with overhang too
  14. Overthinking: Avalox P500 BH rubber

Do you worry about the kind of knife you use to cut a sandwich in half, so long as it's sharp? Get c1
  15. Racket feels weird should I boost it?

Reglue and play with it a bit more imo
  16. Table tennis equipment problem

Might just be that you are brushing too finely, or that there are humidity problems in your playing area.
  17. Why do people say LP's should be banned?

Any cheap LP will do. RITC 755, Palio CK531A, Yinhe Neptune/955, Globe 979, are all good. If you want to get a bit more specialized towards a blocking style, Giant Dragon Talon, Sword Scylla, Spinlord Dornenglanz are also relatively cheap but designed more with reversal/passive blocking in mind.
  18. Sweden Classic + Rakza Z

Good spin, slower speed, higher spin sensitivity. If you are active close to the table and are good at handling/adjusting to oncoming spin, I think it'd be a fine setup for playing a control/spin game, but it will be quite a noticeable change from Rozena.
  19. Recommend me a super slow control oriented setup , for someone who basically just puts everything back ?

Check out the Nittaku Factive, IMO it is a good upgrade to classic style rubbers like Mark V without fully stepping into the range of rubbers like Rakza 7
