  1. What's the worst blade you've ever used?

I agree with you on the Tibhar akkad. I feel it works similar to a music compressor. Speeds up slow hits and slows down hard hits. Still I don’t hate it… Cheers L-zr
  2. Butterfly Jun Mizutani ZLC (Rubber suggestions)

Aahhh, sorry fixed that. Even the sun has spots. 😁😇 Thanks. Cheers L-zr
  3. Butterfly Jun Mizutani ZLC (Rubber suggestions)

It’s been awhile since I played with G1, but it’s grippier with I think better spin. Speed wise they’re similar. I remember I wasn’t very impressed with G1 but I am with hybrid MK. But I don’t know what I would think of G1 today. My current favorite list of FH rubbers: 1. Tenergy05/Tenergy19...
  4. Butterfly Jun Mizutani ZLC (Rubber suggestions)

Mind that Hybrid MK is not tacky at all, just very grippy. Cheers L-zr
  5. stubborn in disobedience of the rules. Bad example to follow.

It also gives you more time to prepare for the return. And it’s easier to put high spin on the serve. Cheers L-zr
  6. Blade feel

Wood is a live material and all specimen are a little different. Sometimes the combination turns out less optimal and sometimes more. That’s a fact of life. Btw JJ, I think all+ blades are the best. Specially 5 ply all wood with a hard second layer and a soft top layer around 6mm thick. Maybe...
  7. What's the worst blade you've ever used?

I don’t know if there is a standard but it can’t be that one, it’s too small. Cheers L-zr
  8. What's the worst blade you've ever used?

I love that blade, the only reason I'm not using it now is the teenie weenie handle, and it's already too heavy (93g) to put grip tape on... Cheers L-zr
  9. What's the worst blade you've ever used?

Stiga offensive classic dull 😱 It’s a bit slow but definitely not dull. I was about to get one, but I found an even better option Alser all+. It’s not made anymore but I got 3 of the last ones 😇. Limba - walnut - ayous 5.9 mm. The middle layer of walnut makes the difference… (I believe)...
  10. Post your latest EJ purchase

Holy macaroni, but remember rubber aged so 3 years is pushing it, but vacuum sealed may last longer. I wouldn’t like to save them that long. Cheers L-zr
  11. Red or Black rubber on FH

Don’t think it matters dudley squat. I use red on FH because I always have. The “heavy feeling” is probably just mental or possibly a function of the rubber hardness. Cheers L-zr
  12. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

No I think the 1500 hz BLADE is faster than a 1300 hz but you can not quantify by just looking at the frequency. The frequency is a result of the harness stiffness. Harder and stiffer = less energy lost. This assertion works for most TT blades. Cheers L-zr
  13. How many layers of glue?

I use medium viscosity with 1 layer on blade an 2 on rubber. No problem at all. The one in the picture is the normal or thin one. I think this one is too runny. Cheers L-zr
  14. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

Harder material vibrates in higher frequencies and bends less. I think it’s a matter of loosing less energy by bending less. Cheers L-zr
  15. New DONIC J.O. Waldner Gold Edition 1992 30th Aniversary Blade

Bluestar and Bluestorm in 1992  Cheers L-zr
  16. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

Absolutely , but that’s much harder to measure, where frequency measurement is very easy. Get it in your head that nobody is saying anything different !!!
  17. New order from Dandoy, delivered in record time !

I will, but it will be hard to compare because this blade will be dedicated to Chinese heavy rubbers now. I choose it because it is soft and light. I’m a little bit afraid that it’s too slow., I can cope with this on FH and I figure I’ll use a faster on BH. Cheers L-zr
  18. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

Sorry for not bothering to read your entire post, but you should know by now that everything is not black and white and BTW, the control rating is useful…
  19. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

I don’t bother to check his links or yours.
  20. BB's thread about higher frequency blades being faster.

And still the higher frequency blades are usually faster than low frequency ones…🤣🤣🤣 Cheers L-zr
