Had another couple of more sessions with Bloom power. It is now significantly less tacky, even though I cleaned it with water only and very carefully. It currently barely lifts the ball. The grip is still excellent and it is still very spinny. I like this degree of tackiness, I imagine it is...

The game isn’t only about speed. With slower equipment you get a larger spectrum of slow and fast. I still prefer 5 ply wood blades. I don’t think the higher cost of a composite justifies the advantage, in reality it’s marginal. Cheers L-zr

Totally agree on this, but since I don’t care much about winning I don’t have any good serves and my serve returns are pretty bad too. I usually try to get a good rally going. I just hate a, serve -> point or serve -> receive -> point, game. Sooo boring. Cheers L-zr

I don’t know, they are all just paraffin oil ( unless they are illegal). But it’s possible, it definitely curled a little bit though so it had some effect. What I think is that Chinese rubbers are like this by purpose. The tackiness helps with spin for slow shots and somewhat for hard shots...

Tried it with Bloom power. I boosted with 3 layers of Dandoy bio boost, It curled up a little bit but not too much. Now this is a slow blade so take that into account but, Bloom power was really really slow and not particularly powerful. The only real advantage was the serves, specially short...

I use linseed oil when it’s new, this will make it more resistant. After this I only wipe it off. It’s not perfect but pretty good. Cheers L-zr

I don’t like Rozena either and Glayser is a very hard rubber compared to T05FX. But I do like Glayzer even for BH. Cheers L-zr
