Switching to a new blade, I will always recommend trying your old rubbers on it, if nothing else but to aid in the transition of a blade with different characteristics by keeping some factors the same from your old setup

Yeah its a bit on the softer side so I don't think it plays the best with a whole lot of juice, mine felt best with two thin layers of seamoon, the third layer turned it into mush. My black sheets are also a bit softer than my red so that might make a difference

I used this rubber a lot but it's been years since I last played with it. I'd say if AK47 Red is MXP, this would be the MXS. Firmer, have to work harder to juice it, but steadier performance.

I'd recommend the Yasaka Goiabao 5, fast and crispy blade but transparent feeling as with most 5 ply blades. Hard outer ply makes for a direct arc. Very similar to RWV but much cheaper

Maybe for late generation tensors, but if memory serves me correct I believe there've been rubbers like Tibhar Makks that have used the thin-topsheet-thick-sponge marketing in the past

Maybe try to reglue it and see what happens. Might not specifically be a bad glue job but sometimes beating the rubber up a bit and then regluing it can "reseat" the rubber on the blade and make the rubber play a bit more naturally

Wow, I haven't seen anyone using Blit'z in years. I also have not heard anything about this blade before, the rectangular nameplate makes it appear quite similar to some Nittaku blades
