  1. Most tacky top sheet rubber in your experience.

RITC 729 SST Cross, Three-Nine Super 999T, old topsheet style Hurricane 2
  2. Should I give up using tensor on backhand?

Sounds like you've basically made up your mind already. During the cell ball era I had the most success using vanilla 729 on both sides, and with all the new development for these performance tacky rubbers, they are more bh-friendly than ever. This is tacky Tensor erasure 😂
  3. A couple game videos, help me return serve better

Speaking of Kenta, I just found this great footage recently:
  4. H3 not so tacky?

Don't worry Gozo, only us ball brushing loopy loopers will feel slighted by this MX-P grip loss, it should be of no issue to a straight smacker like yourself 😉
  5. Japanese youtuber vs Chen Weixing

Ex WR9, back in 2006. He was in the 300's when he retired from competition in 2019, but was within the top 100 until late 2017.
  6. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

I believe I have the soft version, it is pretty mushy. I'll have to try it in a harder version
  7. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

I have a sheet of it from Cole and it is indeed fairly bouncy and fast, it just doesn't grip the ball all that strongly when you stretch the topsheet. Overall I felt it a bit soft and mushy but it plays well for the price
  8. Should I buy DHS Long 5

I didn't find Hype KR very bouncy per se, rather similar to R7 overall IMO
  9. I need more warmup

When I'm playing towards the top of my ability, esp when I'm feeling really light on my feet and athletic, I feel like I don't need all that much warmup. But it's the times sandwiched inbetween the peaks and the lows where my performance can be good but is mostly inconsistent, that I find I need...
  10. Need advice for buying my second bat.

Japanese rubbers do tend have a unique feeling, hard to replicate that especially when picking from German manufacturers. Z2 is on my list of things I'd like to try but I prefer rubbers that have stronger spin than speed so I'm not sure how well I'd end up liking it. Not to mention I have a...
  11. Koki Niwa Wood or Tibhar Force Pro Black edition

You originally tried Omega V Asia on it? Have you ever tried Omega V Tour? Edit: that was a different poster, my bad
  12. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

It depends on the glue, but more glue gets you a softer springier feeling and more support the harder you hit. Almost like adding another sponge on the backside of your rubber. I've been experimenting with DHS #15 and if I just do one thin layer on blade and rubber the feeling is crisper and...
  13. What is Xiom's "energy carbon?" (Strato, Ignito, Axelo)

Visually T5000 is quite a bit thicker than the energy carbon, and the feeling of my PC is stiffer and more metallic than my Ignito.
  14. Post your latest EJ purchase

Tried the Sardius combo in a serious setting and it was very good! ...when I hit the ball precisely. Its a fairly chonky blade at 94g, the Nexxus on backhand is snappy and fast but the level of grip is rather unpredictable for me, and the Golden Tango is very nice but I'm having a tough time...
  15. Blades with a large handle

Tibhar Stratus Powerwood, Tibhar Szocs are some off- to off speed blades that come to mind.
