  1. Rubbers with GOOD feeling/touch/feedback

Depends on many factors. On Hurricane version, booster used, amount of booster etc.
  2. W968 and butterfly innerforce layers alc

You touched upon yet another worthy note. It's often more fun to go balls to the wall with slower stuff than with something whose ceiling you can't touch. (a motorcycle analogy would be getting every single horsepower from 300cc than not using 1% of 1000cc bike on a track)
  3. Hi I am a new forum member! Actually a born again forum member!

I already have taken this with my significant other places. She even buys me blades these days to cheer me up. I wish everyone here such a keeper.
  4. W968 and butterfly innerforce layers alc

I am torn when it comes to prott.vip. If you message the seller with your requirements there he agrees to fulfill it. On the other hand, they offer "Fan ZhenDong Personal H3" or "Fan ZhenDong Personal Backhand Rubber" it really makes me think that they are a scam... The other problem is...
  5. W968 and butterfly innerforce layers alc

True, but I've used couple of blades that were exactly the same on paper (my club gives standardized setups to kids) and yet they felt different. I am really happy with what I have now, so I won't be changing any time soon though. Right now a guy from this forums sold me a blade that feels...
  6. W968 and butterfly innerforce layers alc

Would you really want to risk all that many to get unknown blade from shady guy in dark alley? Butterfly blades are also in the counterfeit dangerzone, but DHS is much harder to get original stuff. Especially those provincial and national stuff. I would consider that option only if I knew exact...
  7. Hi I am a new forum member! Actually a born again forum member!

I think that this is wrong angle. You should not have as many blades as your spouse allows, but rather find a spouse that allows you to have as many blades as you want..
  8. Advice against a chopper/blocker

Give him spinny boy and follow it up with fast kill or vice versa. Repeat. If he doesn't have pips and is blocking with inverted. He will have to adjust constantly. The spin variation will help you. You can do everything in between to throw him off his game. Just don't do the same thing a few...
  9. Spin sensitivity of T05 & T05FX

I've been using Tenergy 05 on backhand on my main setup for more than 4 months now. I don't feel it is spin sensitive at all (but I don't consider Vega X spin sensitive either and I've read people think it is).
  10. Advice against a chopper/blocker

How much variance are you in terms of speed and speed are you giving this player? Are you doing only full power smash/drive?
  11. Looking for advices on forehand

More or less yes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtduZ5mc1bw, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2JRWsTGOZw This video talks more about the concept. It's not worth exaggerating this movement too much, but if you see how Ma Long or other pros hit the ball, you can see how they transfer energy...
  12. Advice against a chopper/blocker

If those chopers do not use pips, consider using heavy topspin +/- sidespin serves or fast empty/topspin serves. Those are hard to push. If your opponent either gives you an empty ball back or attacks the ball. Both outcomes should be handleable.
  13. Rubbers with GOOD feeling/touch/feedback

This depends also on the blade I think. Different rubbers interface differently with different rubbers. My favorite would be any hard Chinese tacky rubber. Think Battle 2, Jupiter 2, Hurricane 3 (I prefer them in at least provincial version). When boosted they are even better. Unless boosted...
  14. Looking for advices on forehand

My first coach taught me that power comes with loose muscles (difficult translation). He taught me to star movement from the legs and empower it with upper body and hand muscles not the other way around. Took me a lot of time and slowing down to implement it.
  15. Looking for advices on forehand

There was very similar case earlier. If I find it I will post link here. Your upper body looks tense. Is your left hand tensioned? I had similar problem when my left arm was so tense it affected right hand and upper body. My coach pointed this to me, and work on losing that tension helped me...
  16. Is my fast blade a “crutch”?

I echo this comment. With emphasis on RIGHT.
  17. Is my fast blade a “crutch”?

Also, it was harder for me to adapt to a new slower blade. My body for some reason needed more time to learn to put more effort into shots with slower stuff. It usually took about 20hrs to get same ball. Maybe it has to do with that I limited myself with faster stuff to not overshoot the table...
  18. Technical help with rubber

OP `Posted 10-10-2019`, just saying. BTW, Did op make a choice? Would OP mind sharing his decision?
  19. World’s Fastest Table Tennis Shot!

His right leg is so buff.
  20. Joola Golden Tango and Tango PS

After 8 hours of training I found Joola Golden Tango PS unusable on FH. It's a decent BH rubber though if someone really wants a semi tacky rubber :| I couldn't adapt to rubber softness.
