  1. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

Not lying, difference of opinion as I see it. And automatically translated subtitles are mostly unintelligible. The only thing I could get out of it was when he showed were the ball was supposedly hit. I only have my phone and the subtitles was too small and too quick. Lot of misunderstandings...

  4. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

Hey some of us may like this discussion ignore the thread if you dont.
  5. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

Then what you basically is saying is that it is a “push” type of flick at contact. Like scoping an ice cream with the spon forward. This also means that the front of the racket must be pointing slightly down and forward at contact. This makes more sense but sure as hell it doesn’t look like it...
  6. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

Yes that’s a brain fart from my side but another post from me says differently. The point here is: 1. By hitting the ball pretty much anywhere with an upwards moment it’s impossible to induce under spin. 2. Then in the original post shows the player doing an upward motion. Cheers L-zr
  7. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

What I meant is that your comment has nothing to do with this discussion. Schlage’s demonstration is about something else. Cheers L-zr
  8. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

As a comment to the original post, James argument was about hitting the ball in the southern hemisphere and moving the racket upwards… Cheers L-zr
  9. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

The thing with long pimples is that they don’t have much grip so you return much of the spin you got from the other side. Underspin returned will be topspin and topspin returned will be underspin. Cheers L-zr
  10. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

The return will attempt to stop the spin and reverse it. Normally this is successful and an under spin will be returned. You may have heard “reversing the spin” when talking about lifting an under spin ball with a loop. From a technical point of view this is wrong. In that case the spin is not...
  11. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

Same thing no underspin induces just returning the underspin of the incoming ball. Cheers L-zr
  12. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

There is no way to generate under spin with this shot. You can try it yourself by holding the ball between your fingers at the axes of spin and move your racket in different angles and you will understand. The best that can be done is to give back most of the under spin that was already in the...
  13. Producing side underspin on the chiquita

James is correct, what may happen is that the contact point is on the side so it will induce side spin and the under spin from the serve is returned. Cheers L-zr
  14. Thick vs Thin and Hard vs Soft - not sure which to get

At this point you don’t know what you are going to like so if you are going to stick with this sport get the cheaper one and upgrade in a year or so. Cheers L-zr

  16. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

I think it’s sounds like a perfect FH rubber (MK). Thanks will try it on a one of my faster blades eventually. Cheers L-zr
  17. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

Compare it to Z2 can you? Cheers L-zr
  18. Thick vs Thin and Hard vs Soft - not sure which to get

Listen to tackyforhand, he is absolutely right. Mark V are excellent rubbers don’t listen to anyone that tries to tell you different. Longest lasting in the business. The Sweden extra is a blade that may well be the only one you’ll ever need. Cheers L-zr
  19. New Stiga Mantra Pro

Hell no it’s a huge difference. I went from T05 to Z2 exactly for this reason. Cheers L-zr
  20. New Stiga Mantra Pro

I would say that the Z2 is like a lame T05. It has less of evething, less speed, less catatapult and of course less spin. But lots more control (sorry @brokenball). The better control makes a lot of differences in the short game, nowhere here as many kill shots. It’s a nice rubber though I like...
