    Don’t forget where you hit the ball, You should hit it somewhat forward of your body. Further back will very often result in stroke #1 above. Also you body should lean forward, absolutely not backward. Cheers L-zr

    Nope, I always seal my blades but splintering is almost always removing old rubbers the wrong way. But as the top layer gets old and dry it splinters more easily.     Never heard that one, I have owned several Stiga blades but not that one. When you remove the rubbers you should do it from side to side against the grain. Cheers L-zr

  20. How to take care of rubbers?

    Clean with water or cleaner after every session. I don’t use any protectors I just put the bat in the case. Every once in a while I use a reconditioner. If you want to use protectors I would use non sticky. Cheers L-zr
