  1. Whats your choise and why???

Easy, try it on all 3 and keep it what you like best. I think the Korbel or Fextra will give you the best results... but I'm not you.
  2. Rubbers for innerforce t5000

Yea, T05 FH and D05 BH, go ham! Tell us if you're able to tame this beast, I sure as hell can't.
  3. Why is zhang jike alc not so popular or used?

Also, these all-too-similar Butterfly Koto ALC blades do offer different handle sizes and shapes on top of the different designs. The Timo Boll ALC and Spirit have smaller handles than the Viscaria / ZJK ALC. The first too offer square ST handles whereas the latter offer round ST handles...
  4. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

I think you'll find what you're looking for in either the Carbonado or the Hadraw, or by having your Korbel trimmed. I have a Lebesson and it seems very so so to me, quite slow and not the best quality, although I really like the handle look as a Frenchman! Lol. But at the price, it's...
  5. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

Yea, I might pick up a VK as well, I've been pondering buying one for a while, and though I had tried out a clubmate's in the past and thought it was similar to the Korbel, I'd like to give it a proper test now and see if the koto is tolerable for me on this blade, which it seems it might be.
  6. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

You raise an excellent point. The rubbers of my newer Korbel transferred exactly on my Harimoto ALC which has the same larger head size. On blades listed at 157 x 150 mm, I get an overhang.
  7. Limba + ALC Blades

Oh yes, I forgot about the Freitas ALC! Excellent blade but very fast! I had to sell mine, too fast for me.
  8. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

Alright, so I called Butterfly France but their equipment expert is on break, so I'll have to call back later. I emailed Butterfly Europe in Germany in the meantime and they answered me within minutes with the following message: "The exact composition of our blades is our company secret (even...
  9. Why is zhang jike alc not so popular or used?

It's the exact same comp and thickness as Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC and Spirit, and the Kenta ALC. Just a different design. To answer OP, a lot of people use the ZJK ALC. It's more expensive than the first 3 blades I mentioned and those have been around a lot longer. Viscaria happens to be used...
  10. Limba + ALC Blades

Tamca 5000 doesn't have great dwell time like ALC does, it is however much faster.
  11. Limba + ALC Blades

Viscaria and Timo Boll ALC are koto outer, not limba. And you need even greater technique than with Innerforce ALC to even play with these blades which are not forgiving.
  12. Limba + ALC Blades

Long 5 or Butterfly Innerforce ALC.
  13. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

I'm no expect, I mostly know Butterfly blades, what I've tried and a few classics from other brands which covers very little. And I could've sworn the Hadraw VK has the same comp at the Korbel, but Carl raises a very good argument against that belief! So we shall see, I'll ask about comp and...
  14. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

I'll call them on Monday morning. I kept saying tomorrow when it was Saturday and they're closed on Sundays.

Salut, comment vas-tu? Ça se passe bien à Strasbourg? Tu joues dans quel club là-bas?

  16. Rubber Recommendations for Joola Aruna OFF

Salut, I'm just being picky, really! :) Your suggestion is a very good one, excellent blade which would work great for OP, either set of Vegas would work well on it and it would totally depend on preference as you said.
  17. I'm Looking To Buy A Table. Suggestions?

Man, I'm not a big fan of the Cornilleau tables and they are pretty much in every club here in France, including mine which has 30+ of them covering just about every model: 850, 740, 640, 540, 500, 340... They are definitely sturdy but most of them are heavy as hell to roll around and not...
  18. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

I bet your V+ has an even bigger sweat stain then! Alright the VK is likely koto outer then. I'll have a talk with BTY tomorrow so they can confirm.
  19. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

Wow that's insane! Also that tells me that they are 2 different blades not the opposite faces of the same one! The bottom is your fave V+ so def limba, but the top one could be a backup V+ although I think it's another OSP and a koto outer. Tricksy Carl!
  20. LF All Wood Blade like Korbel but with smaller head size

If I had to take a guess, top one is koto and bottom is limba. But top one could also be limba? Even harder to tell on a well used blade and home photo. Drumroll! :)
