  1. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

It's standard for all humans (at least all who can run), there is no need to call it anything special, we just say running for the ball. It all comes natural... The difference nothing vs something...
  2. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Thats what I though a crossover was too, but its not, Its simply running towards the ball an hitting it when Your weight is on the wrong leg. What You are showing here is a "redipe for distaster".... 😵 Cheers L-zr
  3. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Different nationality, different nomenclature. Another difference, we do not call it "multi boll", we call it lazily translated "boxboll"...
  4. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Let, me say that I think Your foot work is outstanding, maybe the best I have seen of any movie posted here. Good job. Cheers L-zr
  5. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Sorry to disagree, I learned absolutely nothing useful. Its a natural move the fancy nomenclature is virtually useless and confusing if You ask me. To call it "running step" would make much more sense...
  6. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

I never heard the expression before and just looked it up. Its a ridiculously fancy name for something that's done naturally. Its just taking normal running step(s) to get to the ball... That's something completely different than what I had in my mind. As I said before different nationality...
  7. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

😀 😁This discussion is silly. You can get Your answer by looking at the posted videos. This will tell you who is in any shape to perform this “acrobatic circus act” 😜 Cheers L-zr
  8. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

And that’s what I call a recipe for disaster (for myself).
  9. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

No we were talking about cross over to get to play FH from the BH side and I said crossover is a recipe for disaster.
  10. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Or attack with BH… I don’t teach anybody anything and what the kids are thought today I have no idea. Not interested really… You should check out the veterans World Cup that is ongoing and see how grown ups play…
  11. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Nope never heard crossover before. I’ve been doing this for almost 50 years.
  12. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

In my club it’s reserved for payed sessions with a trainer. Most session are too crowded, so it’s not convenient. Anyway I think it’s a bit overrated when I’m just there for having fun and a bit of exercise. I can compete anyway. Cheers L-zr
  13. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Different nationality different terminology. For instantaneous on this forum all strokes with topspin are called loops. For me a loop must have have dominant spin on the scale for spin/speed ratio. Actually in the old days almost only brushed hits were considered loops. All other strokes with...
  14. considering yinhe v-14 pro

I have played with the stiga’s. The offensive classic is thin and bendy, a little mushy feeling. I don’t mind this. It is not fast by modern standards but a little faster than the allround classic. But I severely dislike Mantra in any size shape or form. Rakza 7 is a good match for a blade like...
  15. considering yinhe v-14 pro

Mantra is pretty fast and hard so I would stick to an allround - allround+ blade, but that’s me. Cheers L-zr B.T..W Stiga allround classic should be well below $50. A Stiga offensive classic would also be below. One of my training partners plays this combo. I think it’s it’s too fast for but...
  16. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

I know it’s horrible, luckily we take turns “feeding”. 🤪Cheers L-zr
  17. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Because at my age my legs aren’t that fast. My foot work isn’t bad but crossing my feet is a no no.😁 Cheers L-zr
  18. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

He will feed what is appropriate and it’s clearly visible that it is more speed than spin. The crossover was referring to the feet not stroke. Pivot would be more appropriate for me. I think you are correct, we never cross our feet, that’s a recipe for disaster 🙃 Cheers L-zr
  19. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

I see, but I was only disagreeing about the spin on the feed (very little). We are basically doing the same thing as the video but not multiball. I don't understand Your expression "cross over wide forehand shot". Do You mean "forehand from Your backhand side to his forehand side" or using a...
  20. Performing the Falkenberg Drill

Sorry, I don't see the relevance. Cheers L-zr
