I done woodwork for somewhat 50 years, furniture and boats etc...I sand my blades every time I change rubbers. Never had a problem. Where I want to take off a lot of material I use a block. To take something like old glue off it doesn't matter... If it is convenient I would use a block otherwise...

A slow blade is significantly easier to control than a fast blade, everyone who has an ounce of table tennis skill knows this.

Rubbers aren't homogenous in thickness either, so seriously unless You really take off a lot I don't think it matters much... Cheers L-zr

I love my innerforce ALC.S. It has à real strong innerforce effect, BUT unfortunately it has a popsicle handle. Luckily I turned to hipnotic and he made a great all wood blade for me. Cheers L-zr

A rubber with good spin and spin insensitive is an oxymoron. It doesn't exist. To give good spin it must by law of nature also be sensitive to spin. That is a fact. Cheers L-zr

Rakza X is significantly harder and also a bit faster than Rakza 7 which is is harder and faster than Rakza 7 soft. I think a really fast blade is needed for Rakza 7 soft. Cheers L-zr

Glues do not splinter, the user does. If You rip the rubber of side to side (against the grain) instead ot bottom to top You minimize the risk of splintering. Another vote for revolution here. Cheers L-zr
