Yes, like I previously said in the post you quoted, the Hadraw VK is "the exact same composition and thickness" as the Korbel. Since the VK is made in Japan it has the same higher craftsmanship as the Korbel JP which is a bit softer and has more dwell time than its European counterpart.

Yes the European and Japan versions of Primorac and Korbel are quite different. The Japan versions are finer better quality builds resulting in softer blades with more dwell time, whereas the European versions are harder blades with more speed and less feel but still good blades.

You probably got different weights of both, if you tried a heavier Freitas, you'd get the exact same feeling as a heavy Maze.

The Freitas ALC is an excellent blade indeed, an exact rebranded copy of the Maze. I'm using a Korbel right now, but I'm keeping my Freitas ALC around for when I'm ready to switch back to carbon.

I have both the Freitas and MJ ZLC. Maze & Freitas are the exact same blades, Freitas is a copy of the Maze, the handle just looks different. The Freitas/Maze has a softer feel than the MJ due to the ALC, the MJ is/feels harder and has more power / less dwell time.
