  1. Redesigned Korbel weight

Like Herbert said, do not go to 80g if you’re used to 92g, I wouldn’t go any lower than 87g or it would be too big of a change. I would post a LF (Looking For) post for a Korbel on several TT forums to try and find one, and keep looking for used ones. Also if you can find a Korbel JP, it’s a...
  2. Replacement for Butterfly Liu Shiwen Blade

I think the Apolonia ZLC/Innerforce ZLC (they are the same blade, just different design) or the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Outer would be good blades for you to try. Or perhaps the Timo Boll ZLF, but I haven't tried that one so I can't really say. The Ovtcharov True Carbon could be good for you...
  3. Redesigned Korbel weight

I think I can hold that with 2 hands!
  4. Redesigned Korbel weight

I recently bought a Korbel JP ST with the new Butterfly logo. When I asked Butterfly USA, they only had 4 ST in stock ranging from 87g to 97g. I know one of the other 2 was 88g. I bought the 87g which is exactly the weight I wanted and it feels great with 1.9mm MX-P's on both sides.

Just curious, which allround blade did you purchase?
  7. Adapting To New Ball

TableTennis11 sells Yasaka Rising Dragon, and I have a feeling they'll sell Mizuno Q3 soon as they started to sell Mizuno's shoes, blades and some apparel and rubbers over the last year or so.
  8. Pros and cons of larger blade head size?

Thank you all for your responses so far! Very helpful
  9. Pros and cons of larger blade head size?

I had a feeling this was the case and I shouldn't touch it. Definitely had no intention to trim the ST one I'm currently using, as I'm in love with this blade and wouldn't want to jeopardize that feeling. The second Korbel JP I'm getting is a used FL (same weight) I got a great deal on and am...
  10. i want play table tennis

I forgot to say welcome to the forum! If you can get a table at home, do it, that way you can practice some strokes with or without a robot, play some more on top on coaching and the club, practice serves, footwork... If you give us a bit of background info: age, how long you've play, where...

  12. Xu Xin's Equipment

I don't think it's clear yet if or when it's going commercial, and if it is indeed a disguised N301, a N301 clone, or if it's even anything like a N301. He could have gone back to all wood for all we know, although sticking with carbon seems more likely like TurboZ said and given that it's...
  13. Newbie Advice for 11 year old developing player

If Butterfly, I would definitely go Sriver 1.9mm for the rubbers to start. Also, I highly recommend you don't go with a pre-made bat and get a custom setup instead. The quality of the blade will be much higher and it will last him for years, and he can glue yet faster rubbers on it when the...
  14. Xu Xin's Equipment

Great win by XX against ML! For some info on his new blade, check TurboZ's post with pictures on this thread from 3 few weeks ago: "Looks like a new custom blade with N301 top ply and 290 style Stiga handle. Can't see clearly the carbon layer from photo but it [would be] a surprise if he is...
  15. Pros and cons of larger blade head size?

I've been playing with the Butterfly Korbel JP for a couple of weeks now and really like it. Its head size is 158 x 152 mm which is slightly larger than the most common 157 x 150 mm all brands produce these days. I know defensive blades tend to have even larger head sizes. I've got a second...

  17. New Equipment 2018

Where can you find this blade?
  18. Equipment help!

The Sweden Extra/Vega Intro is the best by far. Did you take into account TT11's additional discounts (5% off 50 euros, 10% off 100 euros... up to 25% off 250 euros) by putting all the items in your cart? This will be even more advantageous if you buy 2-3 blades and 4-6 rubbers.
  19. Equipment help!

The Sweden Extra w/ Vega Intro 2.0mm on both sides is a great setup. I would buy 2 of those from TT11 and call it a day! :)
