  1. JOOLA Flash 40+ vs Nittaku Premium

    Slower and less spiny.
  2. Are there any pro players that still use an all wood blade?

No, you were clear, I was going to answer earlier but had to step out! The Gauzy Quest OFF is a very nice 5-ply with a harder outer ply (ovangkole) and feels very good control-wise and vibration-wise while still packing a punch (not much speed loss compared to ALC blades). It's faster but as a...
  3. Are there any pro players that still use an all wood blade?

I bought a couple of Tibhar Lebesson, one to get signed and one to try, but haven't glued it yet. I want to slap a pair of MX-P's 1.9mm on it soon.
  4. JOOLA Flash 40+ vs Nittaku Premium

I've read many people say the same thing of the later batches, some reporting the issue was fixed but I'm not sure myself as I had ordered 300+ when they first came out.
  5. JOOLA Flash 40+ vs Nittaku Premium

Yes of course! Correction made, thank you. The original DHS 40+ was quite bad too lol.
  6. JOOLA Flash 40+ vs Nittaku Premium

I personally hate the Joola Flash 40+. It's slow, wobbles and doesn't spin much, and it gets worst with time / doesn't age well. They're quite irregular in shape and bounce too, much like the XSF but worst. Just ask Der_Echte how he feels about them and his experience playing with them at...
  7. Hi everyone

    Welcome fellas!
  8. problems with control

5-ply wood blade with soft outer ply and any of these rubbers and you'll be set! I've recently done the same and couldn't be happier. I would stick the same rubber on both sides, 1.9-2.0mm thickness for added control and plenty spin.
  9. Are there any pro players that still use an all wood blade?

I've used it and it's quite good, good control and power comparable to ALC blades.
  10. Are there any pro players that still use an all wood blade?

Yes, his signature Tibhar blade is all-wood.
  11. Butterfly A40+ vs G40+

I've had the same experience with the 3 balls you mention (G40+, A40+ and D40+). I'll add that the A40+ are not as strong and durable as the D40+ or NSD, otherwise these 3 play very similarly. These 3 balls are all heavier and less spiny than the Nittaku Premium. While all 4 of these balls are...
  12. Redesigned Korbel weight

The European redesign has a thicker handle, not the Japanese.
  13. Tibhar Hybrid K1 Pro

Thank you for sharing your test and review! This rubber sounds very promising. Where did you buy it from?
  14. problems with control

Is that the Xushaofa LSZ 999 I or II? Have you tried both?
  15. problems with control

I've recently switched back to 5-ply all-wood OFF- in order to get more control and feel and it's the best decision I've made setup wise. Opening loops, loops, short game openings... are much easier to produce and spinier, and the feel is amazing. So I'd recommend you do the same, something like...
  16. Where to buy Omega VII pro?

Wow, didn't expect them to be so expensive on TT11... I'd have to make a bundle order with some friends in order to get the 25% discount
  17. Xu Xin's Equipment

Ha sweet! I thought that's what I had read on the blade from the previous pictures. Good exclusive reveal social media type marketing from STIGA! Haha
  18. Joola Rhyzer 48 and 42 degrees

That's great! What's the name of your club? If possible I'd like to come play there in the next few months when I visit Guernsey. I'm planning to tour the island with my wife soon (we just moved to Brittany from Los Angeles).
  19. Joola Rhyzer 48 and 42 degrees

Wow cool. Do you play at a club there? I actually live close by now, there’s a boat that takes off from my city. I visited Guernsey twice as a kid, nice place.
