I from an era even before You. In those days the ball was different and easier to spin. The game has has changed to be more speed oriented than spin oriented. There are hardly any defensive players left anymore... I just hate sticky rubbers with little bounce (Chinese style). I like bouncy...

I'd say if she is using glasses all the time then play with them. If she only uses glasses in school to be able to see the black (or white) board, and not any other time, then play without.

The point is when the ball is moving fast and in front of You there is no time for Your eyes to focus anyway. When the ball is to the side You need Your eyes to judge the distance, that's when it can become a problem.

I wear glasses and plays with them too. I have problems judging the distance without them. I have problems hitting a ball to the side of me. The more in front of me the ball is the easier to hit. I also have more problems with hitting very slow balls if they are not in front of me.

I dont know... But I think that the Nittaku Premium "answers better (has more bite)" to spin and gets does not get "bald" as fast as any other ball I have tried. Maybe the material is the reason... I am not so sensitive but, I have yet to find an egg... Cheers L-zr
