  2. Lighter alternatives to MX-P

Hi, I'm curious as to what other top Max ESN rubbers typically weigh and am considering lighter alternatives to MX-P. My Max MX-P's typically weigh around 47g each when cut for a 150x157mm blade. Considering EL-S, R-47, Rasants, Bluestorms... or even going 2.0 in MX-P. Thought?
  3. Commentary vs No Commentary

Depends, sometime I enjoy the commentary, sometime I don't and would prefer none.
  4. T2 Collectible Trading Cards!

    Same here.
  5. T2 Collectible Trading Cards!

I'd say the grading is kind of silly. But mostly I'd prefer to see pictures of the players in action snapped during T2 matches than this fantasy stuff.
  6. Good Blade for MX-P

Lermanator, what NL & Carl have said throughout this thread gives you all you need to know for choosing a blade. I'll just add one thing just to be clear. We've listed ALC/Koto specifically since that's what you were focusing on at one point. There are many other Butterfly ALC's that are not...
  7. Good Blade for MX-P

Haha, I think you might be right! Santa would have an OTC to spare too since he’s German!
  8. Good Blade for MX-P

Just sent you a PM. Took me a minute to figure out how to on my phone.
  9. Good Blade for MX-P

Of course, sounds good. Sending you my address in LA via PM right now.
  10. Good Blade for MX-P

Absolutely! Let me know if it's cheaper to send to the USA or France, how much and you're preferred method of payment (PayPal, Venmo, SquareCash...). Thank you!
  11. Good Blade for MX-P

Do you have an extra one for me!
  12. Good Blade for MX-P

Also we've already listed all the Butterfly blades that are the same composition as the Ovtcharov True Carbon several times. You can't get any closer in characteristics than that or the Tibhar Drinkhall Powerspin! I don't know what else you're looking for???
  13. Good Blade for MX-P

Can someone actually confirm this? The TT Blades Composition Database does list the Kenta as a limba outer, unlike the other 4 which are for sure koto. http://stervinou.net/ttbdb/liste.php But Butterfly lists the Kenta with the same exact specs as the other 4... which I would trust first and...
  14. Good Blade for MX-P

Like NL said, the main and maybe only difference between these blades are the handle size shape (not just the design). Beside their huge difference in price, the blades are all (roughly?) the same and play similarly, but the handle (since you have a large choice for this exact blade type) makes...
  15. Zhang Jike using Tenergy 05 on the forehand!

Indeed. Can't believe it took any company this long to put two and two together, especially with the plastic ball and with so many people on the forums mentioning this idea and asking for it for so long. Would have thought either DHS, Yasaka or Stiga to be the first to release something like...
  16. Zhang Jike using Tenergy 05 on the forehand!

Joola recently released the Golden Tango with these exact attributes.
  17. Good Blade for MX-P

I'm not saying it's bad, it's definitely a great working combo, just like you see a lot of pros with either T05 or T64 (similar to Evo) on Viscarias and TB ALC. I just think the EL-S might be a better fit on koto for me, since I'm no pro and I get a better feeling from MX-P on limba than I do on...
  18. Good Blade for MX-P

I completely agree! MX-P does seem to play better on composite blades with limba outers like my Acoustic Carbon or Mizutani ZLC rather than koto outers like TB ALC and Viscaria. I'm even thinking of switching from MX-P to EL-S for my TB ALC.
  19. Ask Timo Boll a question!

Dear Timo, Your play and results seem to have dipped by 2016, partly due to (back?) injury (I think). Yet, you are now at the top of your game in 2017, and it's great to see! What do you attribute this regain of strength to? Healing, change of training, more motivation, change of tactics, long...
  20. Good Blade for MX-P

MX-P will be good on any of the blades you or others have listed, especially as a substitute for T05, since that's what you used before. It's about what you want from the blade. I've tried a lot of ALC blades and a few ZLC as you can see from my list. ZLC is stiffer and gives you more power than...
