To my surprise some people are very attached emotionally to that cupboard containing a few hundred different 38mm balls. I'll post a picture, but contrary to my expectations it's a keeper. Sorry.

We actually have a cupboard filled with tray after tray of 38mm balls. It's been donated many years ago to the club by a member, and it just may be time to break clean here and there, now we're renewing our club home. I've asked if we can part with this collection.

Been arranging for a few things, and carrying them out with a bunch of volunteers at the club: painting walls, fixing the wall flushing, and renewing the floor by a solid beech one. Almost done; and in a few days the body will start forgetting the pain.

T05/T64 are fine and dandy, but demanding rubbers. Fun stuff if you can master it, frustrating if not. Are you an advanced level player, or a higher intermediate level? If not, you might benefit from something a little less explosive, a little more controlled.

There is no "in general". Better is not an absolute, it's a relative. One might be better for flat hits, the other may offer more dwell time and thus grab the ball a bit longer when spinning — i.e. be better for spinning. One may be better in active play, another may be better when playing...

I think the banana flick doesn't per se override or neutralize the incoming spin, but contact is more often than not pretty much perpendicular to it. To while there may be spin, that will hardly affect your stroke. You will add your own and inherit the existing spin, slightly worn off over...
