No. DHS has changed the formula of all H3 topsheets. All commercial, provincial and national H3 are only slightly tacky at best. If you are used to tacky rubbers like myself, TG2 and TG3 topsheets are still tacky.

For your usage, you will need to reboost every 2 months if you started with 2 layers of Haifu yellow commercial. National booster lasts shorter period of time. 41 degree requires more layers than 40 degree hence lasts a bit longer.

KCCC has done a review on So-Ten. Its 5.7mm thickness gives it a very good control and feel compared to 968. Max power is less than 968. So he said it’s a very versatile blade that can land the ball with high consistency.

The blue sponge Skyline series are great but expensive. The commercial one is better than H3. At least the topsheet is tacky, my short game is way better with Skyline

I understand you are looking at the Omega VII series, but don't forget Vega China (half tacky). Since you played 09C before, Vega China can be a good replacement (54 degree sponge).

Rumours also say higher quality of wood and craftsmanship were used in the old days. I have a Stiga made in the 1980s. The feel is so much better than Acoustic or Korbel.

I still order Skyline this year. The topsheet is still tacky as hell. DHS has not changed the Skyline series.

All lines of H3 aren't as tacky as before. I've tried Neo commercial, Neo provincial orange, Neo provincial blue, non-Neo provincial orange. All are slightly tacky. The formula changed sometime in 2022. The 2021 batch is still very tacky.

You need something soft and light on your BH. 729 Aurora, Snipe III and Bloom power are all good value for money.
