  1. Dilemma between 968 and FZD ALC

Yeah I saw your review on H2. Thank you. I like the depth of details you’ve put in the review.
  2. H3 not so tacky?

No. DHS has changed the formula of all H3 topsheets. All commercial, provincial and national H3 are only slightly tacky at best. If you are used to tacky rubbers like myself, TG2 and TG3 topsheets are still tacky.
  3. How long would a regular/national DHS 3 last boosted and what's objectively the best booster?

For your usage, you will need to reboost every 2 months if you started with 2 layers of Haifu yellow commercial. National booster lasts shorter period of time. 41 degree requires more layers than 40 degree hence lasts a bit longer.
  4. How long would a regular/national DHS 3 last boosted and what's objectively the best booster?

Long term user of H3 and booster here. The answer to your first question depends on way too many variables: 1- how many hours you play per week 2- your playing style 3- orange or blue sponge 4- hardness of the sponge 5- type of booster As you can see, there’s no correct answer unless I know...
  5. SUH Hyowon (KOR) Equipment

Sorry for resurrecting the thread. In the latest Ljubljana tournament she’s using inverted rubbers on both side. The FH red one is shiny and spinny. The black BH is matte. Does anyone know her setup?
  6. WTT Contender Zagreb 2023

Hirano played a decisive match. Well done
  7. Should I stick to the ALC blade as a beginner?

It could be that the Burn OFF uses Mahogany as top ply which is quite hard and fast.
  8. Am in the wrong or is this super annoying to everyone else as well?

I hear you. I can feel how annoyed you were in the match. I would feel the same too. They should display civil manners and sportsmanship. In this country, that behaviour is not acceptable. However, people still use other means to annoy you - like laughing or joking when they win a point.
  9. Should I stick to the ALC blade as a beginner?

What rubbers do you play on your Yinhe Pro1? Rubbers can make a huge difference.
  10. Dilemma between 968 and FZD ALC

I glued up my friend's FZD ALC and compared it to my W968 tonight. FZD ALC: FH - TG2 blue sponge boosted BH - D09C W968 (2017 old version, lots of flex): FH - H3 blue sponge boosted BH - Provincial H3 37 soft The FZD setup feels very balanced. Flicking and BH feel really easy. The 09C on BH...
  11. Nittaku SO-TEN & GYO-EN

KCCC has done a review on So-Ten. Its 5.7mm thickness gives it a very good control and feel compared to 968. Max power is less than 968. So he said it’s a very versatile blade that can land the ball with high consistency.
  12. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

It’s a difficult sponge. Despite being 37, it FEELS harder and has more crisp. My local seller says the national team players tested both provisional 37 and provisional 37 soft. They feel completely different
  13. SP advice

I have P4 LP on bh for chopping. I would like to try a SP that can generate a decent spin in a backspin to backspin rally, but still can chop well with good control away from the table. Any SP recommendation? What thickness? Thanks in advance
  14. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

The special 37 "soft" sponge is NOT soft at all. I've played provincial 37 and provincial 37 "soft" versions. They are completely different sponges. The 37 "soft" is quite hard and has more catapult effect. To compare, it feels almost like a 39 provincial hurricane with much better touch and...
  15. DHS fans unite!

The blue sponge Skyline series are great but expensive. The commercial one is better than H3. At least the topsheet is tacky, my short game is way better with Skyline
  16. Opinions on xiom omega VII rubbers

I understand you are looking at the Omega VII series, but don't forget Vega China (half tacky). Since you played 09C before, Vega China can be a good replacement (54 degree sponge).
  17. wood blades age better

Rumours also say higher quality of wood and craftsmanship were used in the old days. I have a Stiga made in the 1980s. The feel is so much better than Acoustic or Korbel.
  18. DHS fans unite!

I still order Skyline this year. The topsheet is still tacky as hell. DHS has not changed the Skyline series.
  19. DHS fans unite!

All lines of H3 aren't as tacky as before. I've tried Neo commercial, Neo provincial orange, Neo provincial blue, non-Neo provincial orange. All are slightly tacky. The formula changed sometime in 2022. The 2021 batch is still very tacky.
  20. Soft rubbers suggestions - cheaper alternatives to Vega Europe

You need something soft and light on your BH. 729 Aurora, Snipe III and Bloom power are all good value for money.
