MXP's smell is quite strong too. I put 2 layers of seamoon oil on my R53. It curls up unbelievably. It took 3 days to flatten. I think that's why R53 feels quite similar to boosted H3. Both sponge responds really well to Chinese booster.

Not that I am aware of after 3 months of playing. Andro rubbers are usually made of high quality. No strong smell like that in MXP.

After 10+ years of using tacky rubber on FH, R53 is the first ESN rubber that makes me feel it is comparable to H3 boosted in all aspects. R48 can be another spin monster. But I have a feeling that R48 pairs well with a hard blade.

I have played the Tibhar force black. Great blade. Better construction quality than Stiga Clipper. If the black edition is too hard, Tibhar has a force blue edition which has a softer feel, yet with 7-ply speed.

The older version produced before 2015 has a bigger head size and more flex than the current Long 5. It's actually an excellent looping machine.

Thanks Dan. D09C sounds like my R53. I switch between R53 and blue sponge H3 provincial without much adjustment. But counterloop with R53 is a breeze with crystal clear feel.
