  1. Swedish Open 2017

I am surprised Lee Sangsu lost!!! His performance in the German open was amazing. Fatigue probably? Passionate about TT
  2. DHS Hurricane Hao 3

I am not sure. I played Nittaku Rutis for a while. It has two layers of glass fiber. It never snapped. But in general glass fiber feels more like pure carbon - little flex, fast, low throw and little feedback. Passionate about TT
  3. DHS Hurricane Hao 3

Personally I have not played it. But there are plenty of reviews online. I was playing Hurricane Hao 2. I put it off buying Hao3 because people say the glass fiber in the middle makes the blade uncontrollable, too fast compared to ALC. Passionate about TT
  4. Good tacky rubber to use unboosted on forehand?

All the rubbers on your list is fine. If you have the money I would go for Neo Hurricane 3 provincial orange sponge. It's versatile and can do everything exceedingly well. Passionate about TT
  5. Good tacky rubber to use unboosted on forehand?

Agree!! TB2 is a highly underrated rubber. It can be used on FH and BH. Passionate about TT
  6. Zhang Jike using Tenergy 05 on the forehand!

At professional level ZJK needs to produce a professional level FH. With age + injuries he can produce that level of power with H3 BS. Tenergy is much more powerful than H3 with medium stroke. For amateurs, we just need to produce enough FH power to win a game. For people like me, I train to...
  7. How much is this blade setup worth?

Many NZ retailer put a big margin on products due to low demand. E.g. a sheet of Tenergy costs $65USD. But it sells for $100-125NZD. So two of that would cost $250NZD already. If your friend bought his blade new in NZ it can easily costs $250 upward. Passionate about TT
  8. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

It's amazing to see another penholder using single ply hinoki. The thickness is uncomfortable but RPB is still possible. Passionate about TT

I have shopped with them. Very professional and reliable. Passionate about TT
  10. DHS Hurricane 301?

Any review yet?? Passionate about TT
  11. Rubber suggestion

I agree the TG3 is a poor choice for bh. If you like tacky rubber try TG3-60 on bh. Put your existing TG3 on fh instead. Another choice is Neo H3 on fh. DHS rubbers always go very well with their own blade. I would also love to hear from you how h301 perform. Passionate about TT
  12. DHS Hurricane 301?

All good I get confused sometimes. Passionate about TT
  13. DHS Hurricane 301?

Yup both N301 and H301 have koto as the outer ply. The difference is the quality of the wood and craftsmanship Passionate about TT
  14. DHS Hurricane 301?

According to the review. H301 is more linear but hits the max power earlier than N301. In another word N301 requires stronger stroke and proper technique to unleash the max power. So they are saying for amateurs h301 is probably enough. But there is no proper review on h301 most Chinese...
  15. DHS Hurricane 301?

Don't get N301 and H301 mixed up. They have different performance according to Chinese testers. But they both have koto as the outer layer. Still eagerly awaiting for a review of h301. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji41] Passionate about TT
  16. What The Pro's Use - Discuss

Good capture. It looks like a FB2 and one of the Carbonado *90. Given his style I guess it makes sense using stiff blades witb little flex and low arc. Passionate about TT
  17. China Super League 2017

So far XX and FZD have changed the blade. Probably they are experimenting new stuff during the super league. Passionate about TT
  18. Xu xin switched to inner ALC

I really hopes so. XX still has room to improve. His FH does look more powerful. It could be that the opponent was not strong enough to suppress him. Passionate about TT
  19. Xu xin switched to inner ALC

I think he meant the whole coaching line. Passionate about TT
  20. Xu xin switched to inner ALC

This must be a new blade. It looks like the new DHS N301. To me his power loop produced longer trajectory and the arc seemed lower. It makes sense for a stiffer more powerful blade. Looks like all wooden blade is dying out at the pro level. Passionate about TT
