  1. Nittaku Acoustic vs Septear vs Xiom HAL

SG and LG Versions still have a slimmer with than w968 for instance
  2. Nittaku Acoustic vs Septear vs Xiom HAL

i can only try to compare the Acoustic vs the HAL and the later is a total different category of speed. Using the same technique in loops the HAL will produce lower arc and make the ball fly closer to the end of the table or even overshoot it. I would recommend the Acoustic, if you are ok with...
  3. Seeking advice for blade choice

Let me just give my 2 pence here. I was playing the Stiga Cybershape Wood and then bought e DHS HL-5 out of curiosity. I thought "hey, when i get good enough, i can upgrade to the HL-5". I then tested both on a robot, especially the short game, because that is what i thought would be less...
  4. psychological help needed for someone starting with team games.

Even though it might really be psychological, don't think that training translates to matches instantly. For me it take around 6 months for something that I somehow mastered in Training to translate to matchplay.
  5. [SOLD] FS: Yasaka Atletico Power Fl (W968 clone)

How much will Shipping to germany be?
  6. BH rubber insensitive to humidity

I think you could already guess that the g-1 would be the logical choice here, but you need to change your technique coming from the pk50. Pk50 is not only affected by humidity, but also by cold temperatures. Below 15 degrees Celsius it starts to feel like concrete and the will be no catapult at...
  7. Tibhar MK

MK is less controlled than Rakza Z but more controlled than t05fx in the short game. Top end speed will be highest with the rakza z. Spin definitely highest with Rakza Z.
  8. Nitaku P50 or Yasaka Z

Probably down to it being produced in Germany anyways and there might not be much benefit shipping it from Germany to japan
  9. How to get better at table tennis when you have no one to play with and get competitive?

When are you allowed to train then? Perhaps ask the 7th team captain if you can join their training. It does not make sense to have you train at days were only better teams train.
  10. V11 extra alternative

You have mentioned that a few times, but never given a proper source. If it is not produced anymore, why would it still be sold on the official website? It is also highly unlikely for Nittaku to discontinue a rubber only introduced less than 3 years ago. What speaks against the pk50 is the...
  11. How to get better at table tennis when you have no one to play with and get competitive?

I think your self evaluation is probably a little to high if nobody will play with you. You would benefit of taking an hour of private training to get down the basic strokes and to have them evaluate your skill. Often times they can point you to clubs more fitted for beginners.
  12. what new hybrid rubber?

it really depends if it needs to be tacky. There are quite a few rubbers that might be easier to play, but still harder than all the 47,5° rubbers. Note: these are not sticky, even though they are called hybrid: - Stiga DNA Hybrid M & H
  13. double serve rules

That is correct. My example was strictly for right handed players, but the rules apply anyways. Regardless of where the players feel most comfortable to stand
  14. double serve rules

That is correct I do find it a little more hard to follow the variable names, so let's give the players names. Timo and Patrick play against Marcos and Hugo. When the decision was done who will begin with serving: SET 1 - the serving team can choose who will serve first. - the receiving...
  15. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

It is true that it does not reflect "gameplay", since we are having a weight with the touching surface being metal, but at least it is comparable. What should they do ? Use a ball whose properties may change over time ? There are a good amount of difference between different brands of balls...
  16. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

Unfortunately i have made the exact experience that you allude to. I always had the fastarc G-1 as my "go-to" rubber that i felt home with. When i then switched back to the G-1 after venturing into a few more hybrid and harder rubbers (MK hybrid > MK hybrid pro > Pk50 > Stiga DNA Hybrid M >...
  17. Downgrade bh rubber from tenergy05

If you want something with lower throw and less base speed than the G-1, then the hybrid M would be a good choice
  18. Stiga DNA Hybrid M and H compared to?

The closest would be Tibhar Hybrid MK and Hybrid MK Pro (in terms of hardness and topsheet). The pimple geometry is different though and also the sponge density seems to differ. Top Black Rubber sponge is Tibhar Hybrid MK Pro, while the red one below is DNA Hybrid H. While the DNA Hybrid M is...
  19. Stiga DNA Hybrid XH

After two training sessions considering of drills and matches I have to unfortunately admit that even though the short game is great and the open game (when in position) is also really powerful, I am not good enough to use that in a real match. Drills were fine, but as soon as I was a little out...
  20. Stiga DNA Hybrid XH

I want to write down the findings of my robot session (still not same as regular training, but that will hopefully follow tomorrow). I was able to compare the Stiga DNA Hybrid M & H variants with G-1 (max and 2.0mm). In terms of controllability in the short game (pushes and touch game) i would...
