Ah okay, yea i have watched some videos on how to glue rubber to the blade, however there is a vid where he does 2 layer on sponge and 2 on blade, is there any diff if in 2 layer on blade with 1 layer on blade? Oh yeah i got a question, what do you mean by dont just put glue near the exposed...

Absolutely correct, the smell is fading and the stench isnt as strong as the first time it arrive, I recently asked the seller and he said that he used a bit of gasoline to detach the rubber from the old one
