  1. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Maybe. But telling someone with a good backhand he needs a better backhand sometimes reads funny,
  2. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Well, we will give them time to let the rankings decide. I guess Uda is also higher ranked than Togami now since he is clearly better with his 2024 stats...
  3. Is the hurricane 3 neo still worth it after tack reduction?

H3 without booster isn't great but it is playable.
  4. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Citing 2015 matches, your analysis never ceases to amaze. Alexis is probably the best player in Europe right now. Duda is good but I would not put him there. Togami>Uda is just as reasonable a conclusion. After all, Alexis destroyed Duda much worse than he destroyed Togami.
  5. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Yeah, we have all been on both sides of such losses. Close to winning with match points or good leads in game 3 but losing in 5. It sucks even more than an 0-3 loss sometimes. And he was containing the Uda forehand well up to then.
  6. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

This to me reads a bit hilariously, Kao's strength is his tremendous backhand, it was the fact he couldn't win strength vs strength that made him start attacking the forehand.
  7. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Who is coming? Cho Seungmin? LGY? Please share...
  8. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

And you really think the level of their opponents was comparable? Togami played a great match.
  9. Difference between Viscaria and Viscaria SALC

The SALC seems a bit soft, but Butterfly from their specs will tell you that the blade was designed to be thinner and more flexible than the Viscaria. Whether it actually turned out that way, who knows, they designed it to be faster and everyone agrees it is. Some people also say it is...
  10. Difference between Viscaria and Viscaria SALC

Well such things are subjective but I actually feel that because the Super Viscaria is not that much thicker, for me feels less stiff and the vibrations are in a surprisingly high range that it is surprisingly flexible for a blade that gets the ball moving as easily as it does. Speaking as an...
  11. Difference between Viscaria and Viscaria SALC

I agree with all this, it is basically a faster blade (slightly) that feels largely the same. That is the main appeal, if you want a slightly faster blade that feels like a Viscaria, this is the way to go but it has quite a few of the problems of a slightly faster blade but the fact that even...
  12. German League 2024-2025 Bundesliga Match between Fulda and Ochenhausen TTBL

Feng Hsin has a great day, beating Meng and Dima while Kao is in China for WTT. Also performing well was Luka, who beat Cheng Chi Yuan, who likely came in to sub for Kao.
  13. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

I don't know much about you or your game or what your constraints are. But the Bernadette Szocs Signature 1 is to me a much better blade.
  14. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

I played with it for a while, broke two of them in an accident that I have had with other blades which didn't break. I had some decent results with it but also lacks something compared to more solid blades but that is my opinion, it is not everyone else's.
  15. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

Stratus Powerwood is an overrated blade. Very cheap construction and a breakable neck. I prefer something more solid but to each his own.
  16. French Pro A 2024-2025

So if I get 1 out of 3 (1 victory, 2 losses) playing Ovtcharov, Timo and Chuang, it is different from going 1 out of 3 playing Tony, NextLevel and Sabonis in what way?
  17. French Pro A 2024-2025

Does win rate adjust for quality of opposition?
  18. French Pro A 2024-2025

You pointed out that Pitchford was playing worse as a way of saying that the league did not have top talent. His declining performance was a mix of personal reasons, WTT ranking participation etc. but even with the declining performance, there were wins over players like Dima in there. I was...
  19. French Pro A 2024-2025

Yes, but is young violence high level table tennis?. Which top league would you argue represents the young violence? The French Pro A which is almost exclusively the Lebruns for young world class talent? Or you think Quadri and Freitas who lead the top teams also qualify? The German...
  20. French Pro A 2024-2025

Playing for a country like France makes it harder, there are lots of good French players who will never get the professional investment to be top 100 players. But Damien is not the #1 on his team in MLTT, Lebesson is, and is Lebession a sub sub topper because he no longer plays for France and is...
