A lot of the post is way too general to mean anything. 1. The general advice for a player who wants to play an allround offensive game was to start with an ALL+/OFF- blade with 2.0mm rubbers for looping. Maybe tensors in the modern era. 2. As the player becomes more advanced, they can...

Coming from someone whose coach changed this equipment after working with him for a while, Your post is interesting. I agree with your perspective but I think you are not being fair to the question.

Xu Xin wanted to be with his family.

An alternative is talking over the commentary - it doesn't always feel as authentic to some people, but it can be easier. You can also pause in between the question and response and just post a black screen with your translations. The point is not to make you work to death, your value is in...

If you have developed a serve for many years to a high level without the rules being enforced against you, it can be very hard to fix the serve and feel that it is performing at the same high level because the ball toss change requires timing changes. This is true for *any* serve. In fact, it...

https://youtu.be/0AjpZwz7Z9c She confirmed my point that when Wang counterlooped Ning's opener at 3-3, 4-5, it pretty much killed Ning's resistance.

Zhang Jike spoke about the same problem when facing Ma Long when both were younger. He said his style was always to try to seize the initiative and that Ma Long was such a good counter player that he just ran up against a brick wall. Until he learned to try to control the play enough to vary...

Now I think about it, I think in both cases what happened was that FZD didn't think that Ma Long could push the ball short, so it violated his training muscle memory.

I think with all the rule changes and equipment changes, it will be hard for someone to learn all the tricks that Ma Long picked up playing in the era of tricksters like Ma Lin and Wang Hao. So in a sad way, you may be more right than we can appreciate.

I thought I was watching One Punch Man, where Saitama (Ma Long) leaves himself undefended and the villain, Carnage Cabuto (FZD) is scared to attack because he thinks One Punch Man couldn't possible leave himself that exposed and will kill him if he attacks.

Another chapter closed and FZD still hasn't acquired the versatility and experience to cope with Ma Long. FZD needs to take a page out of LJK's book maybe or maybe it is just true that LJK does have the most powerful backhand on the CNT.

The thing is that Fan knows what to do, he just beats everyone else so easily he doesn't practice doing it.

This is choking.

Can Ma Long really make the game so boring? Such amazing touch and control. Did FZD take a bathroom break? Probably trying to talk to Wang Hao... lol.

1 down, 3 to go.

There was a recent tournament, I think the WTTTC, where he was in the booth for 8 hours. Thankfully, you probably got better commentary in Sweden. That day, I was willing to ban Bobrow from commentating for the rest of his life. The next day, he managed to drown out the incredibly insightful...

That 3-3, 5-4 point was a soul-stealer.

The problem is that a lot of their quality is in serve and receive and once the Chinese got a gist of it and won the first game, they started taking a better balance of risk for reward and Fan is too consistent for you to just make him move. I watched their match against Ma Long and Xu Xin and...

I figured that we might be revisiting this topic over and over for the next two years (by the Olympics, it might be a foregone conclusion but who knows, Ma Long may have a version of the Lazarus pit or a hyperbaric chamber in his basement). So in honor of the highly anticipated battle scheduled...
