Don't over think it. The contest has some hidden rules as well in the spirit of Christmas, but I am not telling. Like I said, failures count as well if submitted.
I don't use enough emoticons - it's purely jest and respect for the control and balance. I was just waking up (that's my excuse for hitting the ball all over the place) but still...
Ha ha. I just didn't want to give people stuff that I couldn't reasonably do. I was going to make the competition mostly finding shots in a video, but then I decided (partly motivated by your comments) that I could give people stuff that helps them with their table tennis. This drill helped...
I am really thinking 25 is too small but I can't change the rules. It's all fun anyways. I guess the tiebreaker could have been who does more, but it is really who completes the challenge first. I really expect someone to win before Saturday.
If you only get two serves and no one else gets any, you still win the prize. Or if you have 10 bounces and only one person ha 15 or more than you, you get second prize.
I will post my video of my attempts tomorrow night.
Alright - here are the two parts of the competition:
1) I played a tournament match recently in which I lost a game 0-11 (It was at either NJTTC or the Butterfly Teams). What I want you to give me are the scores of the match. Not the player I played, but the game scores.
2) You have a...
And I mean seriously, I don't play a lot of 2000+ players for long periods of time and it is not by choice. My original sparring partner was out for a while and when he came back, he had injuries in his elbow and wrist and while he didn't take them too seriously, I felt his playing level had...
He is usually speaking about the counterloop since I try to stay close to the table. Eventually, I will figure something out. I just don't have the right training partners for the work involved.
Thanks. Most of these matches are played on instinct since I haven't trained anything in way too long and I was testing equipment I have only used for a 3 days as of the time of the match. But it clearly reminds me of some things that I know I have to fix but I haven't given any time recently...
Thanks. Everything requires training, and my stroke planes are already adapted to my current body orientation. I just do the best I can to play without pain while having fun as I can't train that much.
Sorry, I fell slightly ill and missed my timeline. So what I will announce first are the prizes.
1st Prize is a blade - it will likely be either a Vega Euro shakehand blade or a Timo Boll T5000 or a reasonable penhold blade if the winner wants something penhold. But if the winner wants...
