Control doesn't come from equipment - it comes from you. The faster / spinnier you go from where you are now, the lower your control will be initially. You'll regain control over time if your technique is good, and/or you are having regular productive practice sessions with a good coach...

Are you talking about all Dignics rubbers, or 09C specifically? I can get behind either of these to be honest, I find D05/80/64 to be smooth over the table (compared to Tenergy), but D05's top end is a bit violent. I think D64 is something of an unsung hero. For Zyre, it looks like it's not...

Yup, G1 remains a great rubber, I see lots of good level amateurs using it. Does Mima Ito still use it as well? I still see many players - far better than me or most average amateurs - using tried and tested stuff like MX-P, Tenergy, Rasanters etc. Nothing wrong with those, and if they fit...

Uncut weights were: O8C - 71.3g O8H - 69.6g I don't think O8H is closer to K3. I didn't feel like it was noticeably faster than O8C, just has lower catapult and throw. Slightly different feel but not radical, and certainly not more like k3.
