  1. 2.9 mm sponge thickness... Why?

I know, but TTR killer is anti and TTR Hunter is normal rubber, TTR Hunter name made me think it's the TTR Killer, like I didn't even think there's 2 different rubber.
  2. 2.9 mm sponge thickness... Why?

Ohhhh, I got confused. The anti is TTR-Killer. Stupid naming
  3. 2.9 mm sponge thickness... Why?

The TTR-Hunter is like a faster anti, no? Maybe more sponge is for dampening? Or actually maybe the top rubber is super unelastic and they compensate with springer sponge? Just my ideas I have no idea.
  4. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

This is so funny? I just skipped into this video and ZJK using Hurricane and well I didn't care to check the whole match yet but clearly his backhand rubber doesn't have blue sponge, more like red... He needs to use a bit thicker Donic edge tape.
  5. Hello from China

    Don't worry, you didn't offend me 🌞
  6. Best possible setup for the least amount of money

Well the blade was for a Chinese girl so 2nd hand blade is out of the question. If any of you how clean freaks are some Chinese girls you would know they don't wanna touch anyone else's sweaty handle hhhhh, unless they like them. Seems like Mercury 2 is a popular budget rubber. I actually am...
  7. Best possible setup for the least amount of money

As the title says come up with the best possible setup for the least amount of money. I think it could be useful for beginners who wanna start playing and wonder what to get first or could help people who so far have se pre-made racket and want something better on the cheap. The idea came from...
  8. Hello from China

Yup, Xi'an in Shaanxi. I've been working here for some time now and really enjoy my time. I'm always happy when I get assigned to work in China 🌞 I'm vegetarian but the locals say the Xinjiang style lamb is very good.
  9. Hello from China

    Hello from Xian
  10. Yasaka Goiabao 5

Actually I only tried the Goiabao for short term but it's a pretty cheap and good blade and the best feature of it is the perfect FL handle. I am sure I never felt a better FL handle than the Goiabao. There are a very few blades that I would recommend to any level, from beginner to almost pro...
  11. GLUE - Does the brand of glue i choose make a noticeable difference ?

I have tested so many glues and I agree that Sueke no 2 is probably the best of all, I like the Suke no 2 for the extra stronger adherence. It is a great feature if you boost or the blade is a bit slippery and the sponge is also slippery... With Suke no 2 I never had and peeling, with Sueke I...
  12. Harimoto Innerforce Super ALC

After playing more it feels like it has this catapult and kick by default on every shot. Which is the most prominent on weak shots, on harder ones it's less distinguishable. I noticed it several times since with VIS type blades which don't have this just a dull block feedback I land the ball on...
  13. Franziska using Viscaria Super ALC in WTT Macao?

Maybe the venue made it feel better for him or at least better than his main blade.
  14. Blade differences between brands?

If you have both blades with same setup I think most better players can tell the difference between W968 or HALC or Ovtcharov ALC, but if you only have one per day I think it's more tricky. Without immediate cross reference it's a more interesting blind test.
  15. Blade differences between brands?

I think that is generally a problem in every factory day by day. I suppose every manufacturer has their source of supply, DHS, Butterfly, Korean factory, Yinhe, Sunflex and I'd be surprised if they were the same, could be some wood is from China, some from Indonesia, Africa. The same type of...
  16. Harimoto Innerforce Super ALC

I think this really sums up everything about this blade quite well. Maybe just to highlight some key points that need more highlighting. The larger head size for me is a godsend, bigger surface area means bigger sweet spot plus the SALC enlarged sweet spot it means mostly the racket is very...
  17. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I gave one one of my Chinese friends a sheet of Sanwei Target national 3, the normal version. He normally used H3 BS on FH and H3 OS on BH and since he is lacking some raw impact power I said to him to try the STN since it's easier to hit trough and has more speed. And so he tried it first on FH...
  18. SANWEI Target National CP-Tuned — Compact Sponge × Factory Tuning

To me it sure looks like the G40's international package:geek: I tried the G40 at 40deg and it didn't seem that factory boosted to me, I felt like some haifu was missing from the recipe.
  19. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I wouldn't go down to 37-38, unless for BH. FH I think it would feel too bouncy with not enough support for hard hits.
  20. Dignics and its Effect on Sales of Tenergy and Rozena

Hmmm, well that makes sense, now I know why the cut the serial code from the back cover too. But the sellers also sell blades below MSRP and they don't destroy the codes. Oh well, very interesting market indeed.
