  1. Post your latest EJ purchase

Well, I wanted to cancel the order, but AliExpress didn't allow me to do this for some reason...so I guess here I am with Stuor 20 (Harimoto SZLC copy). Short game is amazing, blocking is very good, top spins and attacking is a little concerning in comparison to Stuor 301 copy. It's different...
  2. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

Not sure where Nittaku H3 Turbo Blue/Orange is produced (probably japanese sponge?), but these are good unboosted
  3. Xiom Vega China VM Review

How come that I never heard of this rubber 🤔 It happened that my friend just yesterday gave me this (regular Xiom China VM) rubber to try out and I glued it today for a test. I have to say I am impressed, indeed as many pointed out in this thread it's a very good h3 substitution. Will stick...
  4. YEO Upgrade

That's interesting, I never tried Hinoki blades
  5. YEO Upgrade

on my level it already does hold me back, I can feel that with a little bit more power I would definitely win against more experienced opponents. However the feel is incomparable
  6. YEO Upgrade

Hi all, table tennis enthusiasts! I want to talk about the Yasaka Ma Lin Extra offensive (yeah, again..). I think the blade is a little outdated for the modern ball. Probably, it's everyone's consensus that for more advanced play it lacks power and support. My experience kinda confirms it...
  7. Lighter BH rubber for CPEN setup

Here's some footage of me returning to penhold (again!!) for a week or two. BH rubber is Focus III Snipe, it's quite good. Not sure what alternative legal rubber is there for focus 3, unfortunately...
  8. Lighter BH rubber for CPEN setup

I've used 729 focus 3 snipe for rpb, it's a 'do it all' light rubber, however it's not approved by ITTF, unfortunately, so as Sky wing it seems.
  9. I am Chinese penhold blades specialist.

Calling out some experinced penholders for an advice I have tried YEO, I think it works but doesn't suit the modern ball very well for power play I have tried Viscaria (shakehand version with penhold), but I don't like for power looping -- the ball goes out too much for me. I have tried w968...
  10. DHS fans unite!

yep, exactly the same experience for me
  11. DHS fans unite!

hey it's not "LOKI fans unite", it's "DHS fans unite"!! no, I haven't tried any LOKI rubbers yet :)
  12. Hurricane 3 or Hurricane 3 Neo

where did I say that old H3 are not tacky ?... I think I said exactly what you did
  13. Hurricane 3 or Hurricane 3 Neo

Nope, there are both neo and non-neo versions of H3 with 2.1, 2.15 and 2.2 thicknesses. However, H3 NEO produced after some date are not tacky anymore, the sponge is much more lively and requires less boosting. Non neo in my experience is still much more tacky, the sponge is completely dead...
  14. TT shoes with least amount of grip? (yes, as in low grip)

So it's tacky vs non-tacky, but it's shoes now ??? come on!!!
  15. Chinese Super League 2025

Xu Xin is not happy with the serve lol edit: I wonder if it's legal to do the hand gesture during opponents serve hmmm
  16. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

was able to snap the picture from rednote, looks like Xu Xin is still using Xuperman FH rubber. Cool!
  17. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

  18. Do you prefer the old Table Tennis matches over current matches?

The variety is gone, that's what sad. Less styles, whoever has more power wins. There are exceptions of course, like Harimoto mostly counterplays, Xu Xin playing in Chinese Super league basically still plays his own style no matter what, Truls being somewhat creative...but then again WCQ...
  19. YEO regular (EU version), JTTA version and wordless version. What's the difference?

I've found multiple posts on rednote (xiaohongshu) and videos on bilibili about existense of Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive 'wordless' version (without print on the surface of the blade and with portrait of Ma Lin instead of words in the lens on the handle). Although I am slowly learning, my...
