  1. Need suggestion buying my own blade + rubber

Well. The Hexer rubbers are quite spin sensitive, so another tips is to check out a cheap one: Kokutaku 868 Blütenkirsche or a totally untacky like 729 Focus III Snipe or Palio AK47 Blue/Yellow. https://revspin.net/rubber/kokutaku-868-1-pair-black-packaging.html...
  2. Returning to TT after 35 years

Go for a 5-ply wooden blade like Sanwei Accumulator S, Loki V5, Haitian Y1 or something similar and a couple of Pimplepark - Epos. Super rubber with a mild catapult and good grip. Max is 1.9mm and it makes it really controllable.
  3. Unforgiving backhand rubber

It could be, if you put in on your backhand ;)
  4. First bat

You should put together a bat yourself. It's quite easy and then you'll have something to build on. Many of these factory assembled bats are not that good, and the blades are no good at all. While improving and learning the technique again, you'll need more linear rubbers and perhaps an allround...
  5. Need suggestions about my setup.

Tenergy will give you a high arc with many blades. Why don't you try something more linear instead of Butterfly rubbers? I mean that while finding out what's best for you, you'll waste a lot of money buying all Butterfly products. I play with a Yinhe V14 Pro blade...
  6. Need suggestions about my setup.

What did you use before, and did that work better? For how long have you played?
  7. Lookimg for a new blade

Actually I feel that my H3 works much better with a harder carbon blade than with other softer carbon or wooden blades. Harder wooden blades is quite ok as well but gives a bit of vibration that I'd rather be without.
  8. Lookimg for a new blade

This is just a crazy speed / good dwell time blade. There aren't many, but I agree on this one :)
  9. Lookimg for a new blade

Yep. This one is really fine. Fast with good touch. I'm sticking to my Yinhe V14 PRO, but this is the second best I tried, for me.
  10. Loki Rubbers

In Sweden The NEO versions are sold from about €15 excl vat. It's almost crazy, thinking about the performance of these rubbers. The normal H3 might be a bit more expensive...
  11. Loki Rubbers

Yes ok. I never tried the DHS No. 15 myself, but I might do that when I get it next time. Here in Sweden our postal services detains packages sending out customs and vat invoices, when you order from Prince of TT, Presports etc outside EU, so it costs a bit more and takes some extra time. I'm...
  12. Loki Rubbers

Ah. So you already got it? If the rubber is too domed it's hard with any glue :) I always put it under pressure for a couple of hours after boosting and gluing. It could be really good at counter topspins, as it's quite hard and fast. I hope it works for you then :) Which sponge hardness did you...
  13. Loki Rubbers

I tried the Big Dipper 2 in 41deg. It was hard. Harder than my H3 41deg. I boosted it, and it softened up a bit. But it's quite hard and it's not quite as tacky as H3. Though it's really good looping with and due to the hardness it's really controllable in the shorter game as well. Now I tried...
  14. DHS Power G9?

Well. It's not that super fast, but I had problems using H3 41deg on forehand. Had to use Yinhe Big Dipper 38/39deg with a shorter trajectory, and softer feel to land the loops on the table. I guess your Max Wood is quite fast as well, so maybe this one is really right for you. It's all so...
  15. Loki Rubbers

    Firmer kind of.
  16. Loki Rubbers

Ok. It felt a bit more responsive than Big Dipper, but sure. Somewhere in that area :)
  17. DHS Power G9?

This one is very fast. A little too fast for me. I'm using Yinhe V14 PRO now, and that's quite fast as well. But it got good feeling as well, so it's not just a speed demon :)
  18. Loki Rubbers

What about Attitude? That's someone who already plays with LOKI Arthur China for a while back?
  19. Loki Rubbers

    Nope. Tuesday I guess. :)
  20. Hybrid Rubber for BH

I had it for a short while on my forehand. I'm used to harder DHS Hurricane 3-like rubbers, so it was a bit to mushy for me. The sponge is quite hard, but the top sheet is kind of softer and tacky, so when I'm thinking back it could work fine on my backhand.
