  1. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

Yes, that is why I chose a pretty drastic example myself with Primorac and Primorac Carbon, for most obviously being on the - and + sides of "off" respectively. And I could agree with off++ and off+++ categories, just not with more detail in between the other categories, because really I don´t...
  2. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

But isn´t Ovtcharov Original also a clone of the same, now on sale for 50 Euro?
  3. Best Backhand rubber for Andro Treiber CI Off

Soft as it is, I would assume Mantra S supplies enough control, and I didn´t think it lacked in the grip department either. Power is not its greatest strength, of course, but it´s bouncy and will support offensive shots that way. If Mantra disappoints so much, have you tried re-glueing it...
  4. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

But only if there is no all++ and all+++ at the same time, with off-- and off--- corresponding. ;) I read too much of that "is it still all+ or is it already off-?" type stuff, regardless of weight differences and everything, and I am sure if needed in the range of blades a slower off (off-)...
  5. What rubbers to use for good control and top spin on Butterfly Schlager OFF+ Tamca 50

But better not consider changing it all at the same time. If you get a different blade, it will take time to get used to it, and normally using the same rubbers will help you find out what the blade does better or worse than the current one with identical rubbers on it.
  6. What rubbers to use for good control and top spin on Butterfly Schlager OFF+ Tamca 50

There is no doubt about that. BUT if someone is already used to it - and that, besides the speed, means he is also comfortable with the thickness of it and its handle - I would not go the "2 fast 4 you" way recommended here. I really believe feeling comfortable with a blade values more than the...
  7. Colorful sponges

They´re a bit under the radar, but the rubbers are top notch ESN quality. I am not for any "micro comparison" as regards several criteria, but practically whether I use the 47,5 degree version or other newer ESN rubbers does not make a difference for me. Price is a bit prohibitive, though ...
  8. STIGA CRW7 China Exclusive info?review?

Also, make sure to get a version with a regular handle. I had one with a shorter handle (somewhere between regular and penholder), which in combination with being head heavy made the blade unplayable for me.
  9. Stupid question about Tenergy 05!

Which is the whole idea, and it works really nicely.
  10. Stupid question about Tenergy 05!

That is what I experienced with Dignics 05 when I first tried it. Flat hit (counter) feels hard and quite dull, on tangential hit the rubber becomes activated and supports the stroke. R53 to me did these things even better - it felt more alive on passive or flat hits, which makes the difference...
  11. Colorful sponges

This same question has not been easier to answer since it was first asked. But I think in terms of performance you cannot go wrong with Rasanter rubbers and XIOM Omega. R53 certainly rivals or overpowers t05 in spin potential, and Omega 7 Tour probably does also. Creamy white looks good on the...
  12. Stupid question about Tenergy 05!

Exactly. But when you realize this you´ll know what to choose. I think in their new campaign andro have put it exactly right. First picture is of Gauzy with R53 rubber: Made for me. Second picture is of Gauzy with R48 rubber: Made for you.
  13. Stupid question about Tenergy 05!

Both rubbers are only different in sponge hardness. The softer one (FX) would feel mushier and more forgiving, the harder one gives better quality when the ball is hit precisely.
  14. FS Butterfly Kong Linghui Special black tag and Mazunov blades

The 84 gram KLS (first three pictures, darker veneers) is sold.
  15. FS Butterfly Kong Linghui Special black tag and Mazunov blades

  16. Which Joola rubber is most similar to Tenergy 05fx

Evolution rubbers are straight ESN, sponge and topsheet. All that Japanese writing on the packaging and the secret Tibhar originally made of where the rubber was produced were just clever marketing. At the time, almost any ESN rubber was considered too bouncy, so in order to get people...
  17. Which Joola rubber is most similar to Tenergy 05fx

Me neither. I was sceptical about the Rhyzer that was suggested.
  18. Alternative toi Xiom Vega Pro

I´d also opt for the Vega Europe. It is considerably softer than Vega pro, which makes it a lot bouncier, but otherwise quite similar. The Rasanter is probably the best rubber of them all, but in addition to being soft like the Vega Europe it also has the concept of thin topsheet for even...
  19. Xiom Vega Pro and Xiom vega Europe

For lower levels, yes, and maybe no need to spend the money on t05. Quite similar characteristics, and good quality. When it comes to more ambitious levels or even pro table tennis, you would have a hard time to find Vega pro on the rackets.
