  1. First Hurricane attempt

I don't know for sure. Everyone has their preferences and they may depend on what they can get their hands on.
  2. First Hurricane attempt

Yep, thanks for finding it. Couldn't find it for the life of me.
  3. First Hurricane attempt

Kailin is generally used by the Chinese amateurs because it gives a good effect and the actual booster is cheap for them. National team members usually use haifu national variants. They could be custom made and tailored for different players, but I've no proof to back it up, I'm just guessing...
  4. First Hurricane attempt

Do I need to post test results again? Do some research before you say something you have no idea about. I didn't say it doesn't expand it. It's a booster, obviously it expands the sponge. The difference is that the booster apart from expanding the sponge, it also hardens it.
  5. First Hurricane attempt

No, there's 3 booster versions of the haifu brand meant for the national teams. - Yellow - Black - White Yellow gives the most feeling, elasticity and makes the rubber easier to use. It's meant to be a booster that gives great elasticity, feel and enhances the rotation due to the elasticity...
  6. Is YSE + Rakza 7 too fast for beginner?

There would be no difference. Focus her on closing the racket face and brushing heavily from the top of the ball. She needs to engage the sponge and get an arc on the ball. It's a fine beginner setup, it's not worth changing it.
  7. First Hurricane attempt

Use whatever blade you used until now. Speed is not an issue. Chinese kids play with normal 5 and 7 ply all wood and they're rapid. Play it first with no booster, if you want more speed or feel like it's dead, put 2 layers. There's tons of tutorials, any of them will do. As for what booster...
  8. When to change equipment?

You can change to it even now if you feel like it. Just don't expect to ever become better. It's like asking when should I drive a 1000hp car, as a new driver, way too hard to use. Until you're a seasoned player, stay clear of it.
  9. Advice on DHS rubbers.

The ceiling of a hard sponge is higher than that of a softer one. The harder can maintain more energy. Softer is more elastic and has other characteristics. Once a rubber bottoms out then it's over, and soft rubbers bottom out easier than hard ones.
  10. Advice on DHS rubbers.

Dude... Hit hard and you'll see that esn rubbers have a ceiling. Chinese rubbers don't have that. Emratthich was telling a lot of bull, but this is true, everyone knows that.
  11. Advice on DHS rubbers.

Hit harder, it's fast. Boost it and it gets stupid fast. Rubbers like that get faster the harder you hit. Soft rubbers after a point get a dampening effect, like suspension that can't expand fast enough even though it has a hard spring, the damper has a limit. Hard rubbers don't have that...
  12. Advice on DHS rubbers.

It's not slow, it takes a bit to break in. If you still don't like it then boost it. The Chinese like 2 layers of kailin booster.
  13. Hurricane 3 neo on forehand or backhand?

True, it's not as fast as a European rubber, it's faster. The harder you hit the faster it goes. The European rubbers have top speed, Chinese rubbers don't. Play it on the forehand, it's what it was designed for.
  14. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

    Not a hybrid
  15. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

Ok, good to know. I can get the c2 for about 35~38 euros from a guy I know. Maybe I'll give it a try and see if these hybrids fit me.
  16. New version of Battle II. (NEO)

    Idk
  17. New version of Battle II. (NEO)

They don't need to approve anything, just look at dhs. They have 50 rubbers with the name hurricane 3, and they all have the same code.
  18. New version of Battle II. (NEO)

New version of the Battle 2 boys! It's supposed to be faster and a touch softer. I'm guessing a new, more elastic sponge. Has anyone tested it yet? https://a.aliexpress.com/_Exx4bpv
  19. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

Hybrid means tacky top sheet and euro sponge. There's been tons and tons of European rubbers with hard sponges. A euro with a hard sponge is a euro with a hard sponge. The characteristic of Chinese rubbers is the low throw, kick and dwell. Not hardness.
  20. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

From what I understand, a hybrid is supposed to be the compromise between a grippy, soft and springy European rubber, and a tacky, hard and linear Chinese rubber. So a harder than normal, springy European sponge, medium tension on the topsheet and a mix between a grippy and tacky topsheet. At...
